- SpookyApplePie, on 04/14/2008, -0/+9So our Galaxy is just one big space pussy?
- alex7575, on 04/13/2008, -2/+10Our galaxy is being fingered?!?

How Pathetic. - elosorusso, on 04/14/2008, -0/+6"As if reaching out with a come-hither motion..."
Taps our galaxy's shoulder? Methinks it found our galaxy's g-spot. - fluxion, on 04/14/2008, -2/+7penis penis
- killbert24, on 04/13/2008, -3/+7Oh my god. This is just another sign that we are nearing Armageddon. People everywhere: I recommend evacuating your homes and heading as far north as possible. This is NOT a drill. I repeat: head North for god sakes man!
- noumuon, on 04/14/2008, -0/+3or... what the ***** bitch be quiet... i prefer postitnote's

- inactive, on 04/14/2008, -0/+2It's note worthy that the picture is a drawing from an artist. Man-made spacecraft has never completely left solar system let alone Milky Way to take a snapshot of it. Of course you can see the Milky Way from earth. It's 360 degree all over the sky and the stars you see are mostly in Milky Way, but that drawing shows from a perspective millions light years outside Milky Way.
- serif69, on 04/14/2008, -1/+3RAmen
- Sonic84, on 04/14/2008, -0/+2I wish the artists render had a arrow pointing to earth.... 200,000LYs away just seems so nebulas...
- whyufail, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1"The Presence" is back, and it's PISSED
- angryredplanet, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1The width of the Milky Way galaxy in that image is approximately wrong. Should be ~70,000 - 100,000 light years in diameter, not radius.
Still doesn't make the galaxy's size any easier to put into perspective though. - trollick, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1It looks like Flying Spaghetti Monster touches our galaxy with His Noodly Appendage.

- identifiedlogo, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1You Know, when the they say cloud in space, its not just a fluff of cotton....it's a bunch of "stuff"...So I think we are being royally violated by a space "cloud"...and we should take this "Seriously".
- kenninator, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1Is there a safehouse for abused galaxies?
- sswobbles, on 04/14/2008, -0/+1aliens?
- Lazdude, on 04/14/2008, -1/+2Too bad we can't take any pictures of it from here, it would make for some amazing photos.

- thedinomeister, on 04/14/2008, -3/+1Galactic Booty Call.
There, I finally get to say it. It's an inside joke at the Greek restaurant where we serve this delicious custard/philo dough dessert called "Galaktobouriko" -- the waiters have trouble saying it so we simplified it, hence "Galactic Booty Call". - spacecheese, on 04/14/2008, -2/+0Curse you MilkySoft !
