- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -1/+21I can't wait for Spore.
- WallnutBoy, on 06/03/2008, -2/+19Does it have tiny people with tiny hands and tiny feet with tiny dreams in their tiny culture?
- zplot, on 06/02/2008, -0/+13It's like every other week now that we find a smaller extrasolar planet now. And this is before the next generation space telescopes for 2012-2015.
- inactive, on 06/02/2008, -0/+11More information on the discovery, including animations, can be found @ http://www.nsf.gov/news/news_summ.jsp?cntn_id=1116 ...
- WordsnCollision, on 06/02/2008, -1/+11What, no tinyURL to the source article?
- curtisag, on 06/03/2008, -0/+8I can't wait till we discover life outside our solar system. If I live to see it, I will count myself lucky. We live in interesting times.
- Chubakkaz, on 06/03/2008, -0/+6That's how a man talks.
- Viend, on 06/03/2008, -0/+6All we have to do now is tell our president there are oil reserves on Mars.
- groumpf, on 06/03/2008, -1/+6And convince the world that radioactive oceans are ok... Nuke the icecaps?
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -0/+5.Edu vs .Gov Smackdown.
- sanman, on 06/03/2008, -1/+6Bah, we can't get there from here, for the time being.
Let's focus on terraforming Mars.
Nuke the icecaps, melt the frozen CO2 and H2O, to create an atmosphere and ocean with warmer temperatures. Then plant the ocean algae and vegetation to turn the CO2 atmosphere into a breathable O2 atmosphere. - ChaSchva, on 06/03/2008, -1/+5Does anyone really care? I mean...
It's a small world, after all... - Bertram23, on 06/03/2008, -2/+5In other news the planet has three volcanoes and a rose.
- LemonDefragger, on 06/03/2008, -2/+5The star is called a brown dwarf. Just saying.
- theviceroy, on 06/03/2008, -0/+3it has an unfortunate balboa tree problem, however...
- zadadka, on 06/03/2008, -0/+33000 light years .....17.5 quadrillion miles.....and that's only 10% the distance from Earth to the galactic centre.
We need Warp speeds, there's no two ways about it... - craighoxton, on 06/03/2008, -2/+5They've found The Little Prince's homeworld!

- tramblings, on 06/03/2008, -1/+3Tiny is all relative here I suppose. That thing's gargantuan. 20% the size of the sun.
- Borgcube636, on 06/03/2008, -0/+2It must be that Klingon ice world that Kirk and McCoy ended up on.
- Spanglycrpstr, on 06/03/2008, -3/+4I just joined digg after lurking for months, simply to digg up this reference.
Bravo. - Uhmerikan, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1Just another day in our tiny little solar system.
- corryface, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1sounds easy
- CapnJef, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1Krikket's dust cloud cleared up
- Dunge, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1Maybe we could create some mini 1meter diameter stars for infinite power.
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1...where tiny people live.
- angusm, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1Dugg for the reference, but don't you mean baobab?

- Valarauka, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1Better stay away from the rose, it has a thorn.
- Zephik, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1“A person's a person, no matter how small.” - Dr Seuss
Lucky for us, its a celestial object, not a person. So lets blow it up and see what happens! Maybe we'll have an awesome global-wide fireworks show! :D - boshuda, on 06/03/2008, -1/+1Thats nothing, we found life on the third planet from the Sun in one universe.
Wait....oh...nevermind.... - RonaldRaygun, on 06/03/2008, -0/+0At first glance, yes. However, astronomers have determined that the planet, lacking the gaseous composition they were expecting, is in fact quite rocky.
:)
- duckyinc, on 06/03/2008, -2/+2It's bigger than earth.. if it gets even bigger we can't live on it due to gravitation
- tacomang, on 06/03/2008, -1/+1Good to here news like this. I am deeply interested in space and the cosmos! ^^
- logotype702, on 06/03/2008, -0/+0and the tiny dancer live there..
- AudioPhil3, on 06/03/2008, -3/+2I'm sorry I just fazed out. What?

He's just a TINY bit lonely. - Lephtovermeet, on 06/03/2008, -2/+1You sir, win an award for cleverest quip.
- phrenzy, on 06/03/2008, -1/+0You're far too trusting. MOA-2007-BLG-192Lb is too remote to make an effective demonstration - but don't worry; we will deal with your earth friends soon enough.
Continue with the operation; you may fire when ready. - silfiriel, on 06/03/2008, -2/+1And the little prince lives there?
