What is NASA going to do when in 2010 the Space Shuttle will be retired. Not until 2015 will a new space vehicle be available to take US astronauts to the ISS. From 2010 to 2015 the US will have to rely on the Russian Soyuz launch vehicle to get to the ISS - and if US and Russia relations breakdown - access to the ISS could be out of the question for US astronauts. - jasdf, on 11/23/2008, -2/+1The funny thing is that you could probably buy an equivalent set of tools from the hardware store for a few hundred.
