- i4mt3hwin, on 04/08/2008, -1/+71I can't wait till we go back up there with modern day video camera's and stuff. I mean -- there's really not to many sights to see up there, but god damn it's impressive to know that people are standing on that object you look up and see every night.
- Adys, on 04/08/2008, -7/+54Wow, 6 OMGFAKE comments already. I was aware about how retarded humanity was, but that much? damn.
- feonixphlame, on 04/08/2008, -1/+47to capture the light from the stars, a long exposure would be needed. if they used a long exposure, theyd be overexposing the moon's surface, which is what they were trying to photograph in the first place.
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 04/08/2008, -20/+56tinfoilhatter says "OMFG Studio Lights!"
- greyrat, on 04/08/2008, -3/+38The one on the moon.
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 04/08/2008, -3/+22I'm not sure why you were buried, other than by tinfoilhatters. What you said is absolutely true.
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -2/+20Photoshop wasn't released until 1990
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -1/+17If powerful enough, would send him out of moon orbit and floated into space...unless he managed to turn around and fart his way back.
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -4/+20You are clueless, or willfully ignorant. Either way, get an education.
- CheeseburgerBro, on 04/08/2008, -1/+16That's no moon...that's a space-station.
- Scynet, on 04/08/2008, -0/+15Yeah. Anyone can try it by taking a pic of the moon with default camera settings. Result: no stars in picture.
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -2/+17Serious question: Where is your brain?
- Logicexe, on 04/08/2008, -2/+15You're absolutely right, we can't survive in the Van Allen Belt, but can we go through it really quickly and reduce our exposure time to minimize the danger. Lo and behold, that's what they did during the Apollo missions.
- greyrat, on 04/08/2008, -2/+13That would be the horizon, Dave
- slapded, on 04/08/2008, -5/+15that's probably the worst video on youtube
- physicsguy, on 04/08/2008, -0/+10Those are crosshairs that are built into the camera and will appear on every image, look more carefully and you'll see a grid of them. I forget the technical name for them.
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 04/08/2008, -1/+11To be fair, I was making fun of the OMFGFAKE comments that were sure to follow.
- asskicker32, on 04/08/2008, -0/+10I believe he is making a reference to the severe amount of budget cuts that came along during Nixon's presidency. Also, thanks to Nixon, there was a shift to the space shuttle, and therefore, a move away from the moon.
- GT35R, on 04/08/2008, -3/+13No seriously, where is you brain?
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -1/+10Yeah...he landed on the Moon...he doesn't owe humanity anything. The guy is a bad-ass!
- sonaboy, on 04/08/2008, -0/+9The moon landing conspiracy theorists are the people on the other end of the nutjob spectrum from intelligent design theorists. They "function" in very similar ways.
- csupra, on 04/08/2008, -5/+14The moon landing fake? OK so how the mirror that's in the moon that scientist use to reflect lasers and signals is up there? I don't have the name right know but the astronauts left a mirror up there and scientist have bounced signal from the moon down to earth using it. This is proof. Or is it a fake mirror?
- pushmouse, on 04/08/2008, -1/+10No, its not a mysterious anomaly in any way. Several people have answered this question in this comment section already. People like you ignore facts and keep repeating the same retarded questions over and over.
- pushmouse, on 04/08/2008, -3/+12Are you intentionally this stupid? You would need to spend a month in the belt for it to kill you. The astronauts were in in it for about 20 minutes. Dr. Van Allen has stated this many times before his death in 2006.
- byronm, on 04/08/2008, -6/+14If only the Nixon administration had never happened. Perhaps we would have a small colony on the moon already and be on our war to other planets.
- GiggleStick, on 04/08/2008, -1/+9Not only that, but it's a belt, not a sphere, so you can bypass the denser portions of it with the appropriate trajectory, which I also believe they did. A lot of lunar hoax conspirators are like Kahn. They can only think 2 dimensionally.
- Emmo213, on 04/08/2008, -1/+9I know it's a long long time away, but someday, I want to go there.
- theculture, on 04/08/2008, -0/+8Thank you for making sense. They are called Retroreflectors. More about them here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retroreflector#Retror ... - RevGonzo19, on 04/08/2008, -3/+11The moon landing wasn't faked. I'm just as paranoid as the rest of you Internet trolls and I believe we actually landed on the Moon. Everybody just STFU about that one special, which was aired on Fox News incidentally, that said the Moon landing was faked. Who cares that the special was aired on Fox? Who cares that there is about 3 minutes total of evidence presented proving the moon landing. Oooo that's great journalism there, the whole blatantly omitting opposing facts and only letting one side of the story "tell it like it is". Great job. Any of you hacks out there can just shut the ***** up now and go home. Welcome to the Internet.
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -2/+9You need to reattend eleMental school.
- whodoes, on 04/08/2008, -1/+8I just saw a youtube vid where one of the Apollo astronauts was being screamed at, by a conspiracy nut, during a book signing. so damn sad.
- Claude1971, on 04/08/2008, -0/+7no it isn't 'tard. it revolves around the world
- surKaz, on 04/08/2008, -1/+8You and about a few billion other people... Including me, of course.
- esquilax, on 04/08/2008, -0/+7I don't know that there are pics, but one thing they left behind are laser reflectors that can be used to independently confirm the landing.
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -1/+8No, Armstrong won't bend over backwards to make crackpots happy.
Honestly, if its such a huge, awful scam, what difference would swearing on a Bible make? - ophello, on 04/08/2008, -0/+7The reason you thought that is because you dont understand physics and you believe whatever you want, or whatever someone else tells you.
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -9/+16So far, the greatest achievement of mankind...
- physicsguy, on 04/08/2008, -0/+7Retucules, that's the one. But why insult someone on a personal level for asking an honest question?
- LegendCJS, on 04/08/2008, -1/+7The largest and most convincing evidence that we really did land on the moon is that the Soviets never tried to deny it. This was the middle of the cold war people, and the Soviets had a HUGE interest in calling it a fake if it was actually faked. Also you can look in a ***** telescope (assuming its large enough) and see the god dam lunar lander lower stages sitting up there plain as day.
- rizzo2008, on 04/08/2008, -2/+8http://www.youfail.org/
- pushmouse, on 04/08/2008, -1/+7Adys, it's actually frightening how stupid people have become in the age of information.
- Scynet, on 04/08/2008, -0/+6There are a lot more than just two. They are crossharis in the camera, not in the background.
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 04/08/2008, -2/+8Huh?
You do know that the landings happened DURING Nixon's administration, don't you?
And if you're trying to make a veiled Vietnam cost reference... That war was initiated by JFK, and escalated by LBJ. - asskicker32, on 04/08/2008, -4/+10Just imagine, in our lifetimes, we could be on Mars.
- DoscoJones, on 04/08/2008, -1/+6The tin foil hat crowd will tell you the reflectors were put down by robot landers. There's no convincing the mentally ill.
- cwgannon, on 04/08/2008, -0/+5Err, you must lack a thumb and an eye, otherwise you would realize that your thumb can cover your eye DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ***** HOLD IT.
Holy *****. - inactive, on 04/08/2008, -0/+5***** your English teacher.
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -0/+5ENGLISH, *****! DO YOU SPEAK IT?!
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -1/+6http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.html
- inactive, on 04/08/2008, -0/+5Its not the government telling us this. Its credible scientists proving it to us.
