- awuwish, on 04/29/2008, -0/+2Wow, I knew there were a lot of airplanes flying each day, but not 15k+. Even with each plane 75% full, thats still....well, that's a bunch of people. Not a good picture for conservationists =/

Del- Cederosa, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1It was just posted on APOD, or do you really think that flight patterns have changed drastically in the last 3 years?

- jakash, on 04/29/2008, -0/+1I thought the P in APOD stood for picture?
Nevertheless, this was an interesting video to watch... maybe they should make an AVOD...
Not the best picture to see blown up on my desktop first thing in the morning... - sylved, on 04/29/2008, -0/+1I thought the A in APOD stood for astronomy. What does this have to do with the study of the stars and cosmos? Maybe APOD stands for Airplane Picture of the Day!
- BuzzDiggity, on 04/30/2008, -0/+1man., i want to be a pilot so bad i can taste it!
- fidozombie, on 04/30/2008, -0/+0Hundreds of thousands of flights over the US every day? That sounds doubtful.
