- anexanhume, on 07/14/2009, -2/+8That's no moon, it's a space station!
- biddie67, on 07/14/2009, -1/+7Congratulations to Ms.Riou for a very beautiful and dramatic photograph!!

uhm, yeah, shot through my 8inch Celestron :) It could have been taken better, but it was real difficult getting those 2 in one shot since I had to hold my camera to the eyepiece. Anyway hope you all like :) - saintsfan, on 07/14/2009, -1/+4Venus pairs up with the moon earlier in the year. They are both spectacular.
- saintsfan, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2Thats a very nice shot.
- Wareznuke, on 07/14/2009, -1/+3I love this photo. Such great detail to both Moon and Jupiter's moons. It must have been very hard to take this photo considering the overcast and Moon's reflection overcoming Jupiter's moons.
- Dou6, on 07/14/2009, -1/+3Beautiful, but sad that I know I will never get off this planet.
- AmericanGunner, on 07/14/2009, -1/+3I'm gonna be the first one to see em all!
- machoraz, on 07/14/2009, -1/+3Jupiter looks bigger on TV.
- pennstatephil, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2Look up the upcoming Juno mission-- we'll know alot more about jupiter from it!
- DeepSkyDiver, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2Who is digging this!? It's grainy, unclear, unspectacular and not even of something inspiring or of significance. Buried (like I will be) my astronomical friends :)
- avianeddy, on 07/14/2009, -0/+2truly spectacular
i wouldnt have believed you could
see the Galinean moons so clearly - FlashBazbo, on 07/14/2009, -0/+1Yeah, the camera always adds 10 pounds.
- spacefreakJohnB, on 07/14/2009, -0/+1Fantastic picture!
- brainiac8008, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1Space has no temperature. MUAHAHAHAHAHA
- neonsox, on 07/14/2009, -1/+2Much better through a telescope. Buy one and see these things with your own eyes.
- Fenris802, on 07/14/2009, -1/+2Awesome!
- inactive, on 07/14/2009, -1/+1I'm saving my money for the Aphone.
- pstroll, on 07/14/2009, -3/+0where would you go if you could? The radiation from Jupiter is lethal, the lunar dust is as abrasive as shards of glass and space in between is a shooting range of meteorites.
- ghostofpanty, on 07/14/2009, -6/+3w00t cant wait for the new apple Apod!
