- Bobski, on 07/10/2009, -2/+10It's a beautiful image no matter how many times you view it. It is, quite literally, universal art. Get over yourself.
- biddie67, on 07/10/2009, -1/+5(( grin )) that ol' fuzzyCop's been doing a bit of fuzzyResearch .... interesting that he's tracking postings like that .... BUT, the photo is drop-down gorgeous! Looks like some fabulous underwater scene.....
- kaleev, on 07/10/2009, -1/+5i like it, too :)
- compressedaudio, on 07/10/2009, -2/+6This is actually a different image.
May I suggest you get hold of a telescope and send some of your own to APOD.
If you want something 'current' outer space probably isn't the best place to look. lol.
Take a look on Flickr or Twitpic public timeline for something current.
There I told Fuzzycop. - tashtego67, on 07/10/2009, -1/+3The towers are interesting. What makes them into that shape? The tower link just goes to a generic wikipedia article on towers.
- Fuzzycop, on 07/10/2009, -0/+2Agreed. It is a nice photo...albeit very over-used.
I don't track their postings, but you can find their prior images here by keyword search at the top of the page...
http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html - MrShreddington, on 07/13/2009, -0/+1I noticed something interesting in the middle of the pic... you should be able to see it.
- 408train, on 07/10/2009, -1/+2nebulae are sweeeeet
- MrShreddington, on 07/10/2009, -1/+1I love this stuff. I have a bunch of pics downloaded from APOD and other websites that I just stare at on my TV set.
- Fuzzycop, on 07/10/2009, -12/+7Yet ANOTHER recycled photo from APOD. With all that's happening in Astronomy, you'd think they could come up with something that hasn't been used again, and again, and Again, and yet AGAIN?!!!!
It's was featured on APOD on....
