WinZip Fails To Credit Open-Source Developer Despite Using His Code

hydrogenaudio.org — In the changelog of WinZip's latest beta, there is "a special algorithm that will compress wav files smaller than ever." They forgot to mention the code is stolen from a program called WavPack. Worse yet, WavPack is released under a BSD license, all WinZip has to do is credit the author - something they haven't found time for yet.

    Wavpack is an awesome resource to have around.
