- Twenty, on 03/14/2009, -4/+209I was hoping to see Tweets flying towards me in some sort of distopic, horrifying melding of thought and space somewhat influenced by Space Odyssey. This is still pretty cool. Random tweets are hilarious.
- justkikuchi, on 03/14/2009, -6/+190i found a girlfriend in china. thanks twitter 3D

- iamtehmetal, on 03/14/2009, -31/+96***** TWITTER
- sho222, on 03/14/2009, -3/+62It seems to just repeat the same 10 or so tweets. Lame.
- iambrucenolan, on 03/14/2009, -32/+80I don't like Twitter!
- Enche, on 03/14/2009, -3/+46I figured if I watched it long enough there would be a ... interesting comment:
"Why does a McGangBang sound so delicious when your hungover?" - Aliwalla, on 03/14/2009, -11/+54twitter is the most overrated thing the internet has ever produced
- larrimer7, on 03/14/2009, -3/+37You get a digg, friend.
- dan0964, on 03/14/2009, -6/+40If I watch long enough, ill see my own twitter.... maybe
- REV0R, on 03/14/2009, -3/+34I keep spinning this model as fast as possible in hopes of going back to a time when Twitter didn't exist.

- sendakseuss, on 03/14/2009, -2/+26she went that far to get away from you?
- bonk2k, on 03/14/2009, -1/+24http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=McG ... That does sound pretty damn good.
- benighted, on 03/14/2009, -1/+23Is there a screen saver version of this?
- checkslash, on 03/14/2009, -2/+19"I'm still looking for the cat that ***** in my mouth" XD
- bonk2k, on 03/14/2009, -4/+21It sucks that the majority of people rarely use twitter for good, like providing useful information/entertaining insights to personal friends, customers, fans etc.
- MrsMenesguen, on 03/14/2009, -1/+16Twittearth is so much better... http://www.twittearth.com/ !
- inactive, on 03/14/2009, -3/+16you guys killed the meme.

- bouche, on 03/14/2009, -6/+17what the ***** is 3D about this? It's just random tweets layed on top of a sphere.
- scarth, on 03/14/2009, -0/+10certainly it does, and don't call me shirly
- MattS, on 03/14/2009, -0/+9Kinda like the gibberish the Hybrids in BSG spout. Some of its nonsense, some of its prophetic.
- HigherLogic, on 03/14/2009, -1/+9Sure it does, anyone using the service is one.
- etx313, on 03/14/2009, -5/+13Oh look at that! Some guy in London just took his trash out. Good for him. Jeez, twitter is so ***** lame..
- DJax, on 03/14/2009, -0/+8I keep seeing the same ones...
- Rodalli, on 03/14/2009, -3/+10Digg this man up, cause I'm pretty sure it's true. Was not funny on SNL, also not funny on his own show.
- Dunnix, on 03/14/2009, -3/+10It has length, width, and height... sounds 3d to me. Though it may not be truly 3d since your viewing it on your monitor.. though its a close enough illusion without the need of being a duchebag.
- inactive, on 03/14/2009, -7/+13GOD HATES JIMMY FALLON
- t0x2c, on 03/14/2009, -0/+6Actually a very nice app. It seems like it can't cross the international date line though when rotating.
- jasdf, on 03/14/2009, -3/+9Surely this doesn't show every single twit.
- raynar, on 03/14/2009, -1/+6as worthless as the digg visualization *****..
- jmwander, on 03/14/2009, -0/+5Also check out flickrvision.com which shows uploads to Flickr around the world, created by the developer of Twittervision, Dave Troy. I love these sites--both are mesmerizing. My only problem is that they sometimes seem to repeat the same tweets or photos after 20 or so are shown then I have to clear it out and reload. Anybody know a fix for this?
- travisMarc, on 03/14/2009, -0/+5In College Station you can just order it by name and they make it inside and just go ahead and charge you 2.16
- aphorizm, on 03/14/2009, -2/+7Twitter is like any social network, forum or newsgroup. If you're an idiot and interact with idiots then it's crap. But if you follow interesting people it can be a whole lot more than 'OMG.. I just ate a muffin for breakfast' banalities. Personally I like the simplicity. It doesn't try to be everything like Facebook.
- vdogg89, on 03/14/2009, -0/+4whats up with seeing like 6 tweets over and over again?
- B13ND3D, on 03/14/2009, -0/+3Reminds me of the Twingly screensaver
http://www.twingly.com/screensaver - Hardcore41, on 03/14/2009, -3/+7a Sphere is 3D...a Circle is 2D
- FearlessFreep, on 03/14/2009, -1/+5except without the prophetic
- lintmonkey, on 03/14/2009, -0/+4Jump!
- cambob76, on 03/14/2009, -0/+4What about Chocolate Rain?
- Aleman360, on 03/14/2009, -3/+7Thanks for your insight. It was almost as valuable the average Tweet that you seem to hate so much.
- DanWright, on 03/14/2009, -0/+4I'm just going to put it out there - This doesn't do it for me.
I would like to see a twitter visualisation which handles every single tweet as they are broadcast and then throws them down a tunnel past you or something mad like that, with certain words or topics highlighted...
Or maybe the earth thing could be adapted so that the tweets leave the earth normal to the surface and continue off into space. This would be pretty cool as it could show the density of tweets per area. When you click on one of them the camera angle could fly around to view it from the side while it is travelling *I wonder how many tweets go out per second globally*. Maybe it could be a plug-in for Google Earth one day. Lights could sprout all over the surface of the globe like when Locke is looking into the hatch in LOST season 1.
I've just got a "Windows Media Player found: xxxx" pop-up for the 5th time today. Every time I open the dialogue box I check "Disable future notifications" yet it keeps coming back. *sigh*
Does anybody else still think "United Aerospace Corporation" when they see a UAC prompt in Vista? - inactive, on 03/15/2009, -0/+4Myspace.
- nerddtvg, on 03/14/2009, -0/+4I agree, but I still dugg it because it is a cool concept and good implementation.
