- wizkid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The "pPod" software has been around for quite some time and was forced to remove itself from the market by Apple last year. If you were lucky enough to get a copy it is a very nicely done emulation of the the Apple ipod.
- stereosok, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the guy probably misspelled it. poor guy! but i just downloaded it and thought it was nice, i would really recommend it.
- trvr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0bandwidth exceeded, crap, anyone got any webspace to throw this on? maybe someone that already downloaded it can email it to me....trvr3307 (at) gmail (dot) com. thanks
- Axim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0needs alot of features but i've been waiting for this exact thing. now if it only had an option to change hardware button mapping, set your default mp3 directory, scrolled long file names in the browser and jumped right back to the main menu after selecting 'recent music' still awesome for a first release..
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I just put it back on the site, you might also want to download it from that site, becouse it includes the serial/crack for it.
- xsnoopy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0if anyone can tell us where we can still get this software that would be great... thank you
- jakv5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0When they start to make a pocket pc with 20gb of storage I will bite. Untill then I am sticking with the original ipod. (a port for the Apple Newton, however, might get me to bite!)
- datr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wizkid is right, also when this software was released it wasn't free. So they could also be sued by starbite solutions (I think that was the company anyway) for piracy.
Not to mention this wasn't even the newest version that startbite solutions created they released an updated one, renamed pBop to try and avoid the wrath of Apple. It didn't work.
While this player is good for the novelty in terms of functionality it's very limited. The worse aspect is there is no way to easily create playlists. There are much better players out there for those who are serious about there music. Conduits Pocket Player is a very good player with a lot of features, unfortunately it isn't free either. - pajama, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0They're gonna get sued so fast.

- CTRLALTDLT, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I'm not sure if I would download anything onto a pocket pc from a company that cannot spell "program".
