  • xlife, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2Frankly, this is just pettiness on the part of the Transmission team, who are willing to abandon their open source status and principles over a spat that they started. It'll have no meaningful effect on Xtorrent, which is a user interface above all else. Xtorrent will continue happily either by building on the existing code or moving to an alternate torrent library (like libtorrent). Users won't be affected in the slightest.
