Snackr is an RSS Addict's Dream Come True
readwriteweb.com — Snackr is a new Adobe AIR app that lets you display items in your RSS feeds in a beautiful scrolling ticker on any edge of your screen. Snackr is something you'd supplement your existing reader with, not a replacement. It is not for the faint of heart or information averse, either.

- jondo85, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2This has totally changed the way I read stuff on the web overnight. Before I had RSS fatigue; RSS lets you be greedy, you can add lots of feeds to your reader, then quickly click them all to get news from all over the web that would have been much more of a hassle otherwise. However, even after cutting my number of feeds by half, I still only click the same few each day, and just can't be bothered to keep up to date with all the others. With Snackr however, I can passively let information flow at me; it kind of feels like Digg actually (even before I added Digg feeds to Snackr!), as I added lots of feeds that I didn't have before, and lots from sites that I have previously removed from my reader but that I still like to read the top articles from. The sophistication and speed with which we can locate and aggregate information these days is pretty incredible, compared to even a few years ago.
