- dknighton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11FYI...just like most everything else Dave Winer is involved in, he did NOT create this. He hired another programmer to write it for him, then threatened him with legal action if he did not disassociate himself from the project, and disavow any knowledge of his hand in creating it. It's called a "power-grab" and it's exactly what Dave Winer is best at.
The sooner the tech community realizes what a turd Dave Winer is, the better off we'll be. The man takes other people's ideas and claims them as his own (ie, Podcasting). And even in this case, when he collaborated with someone, he used his pack of lawyers to scare off the other involved parties so he could take all the credit. What an *****. - keesj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4It's nice to see related feeds like yours, but it would be nicer if you could filter the ones you already have.

- Never, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Where did you learn that? Just wanted to know coz i don't just believe something that easily.
- gekkokid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1so its just a top 100 feed list? what exactly is it?
- sirshannon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The site and app existed before Rogers began working on it, I think it was originally released in late 2003/early 2004 and then eventually began to collect dust as Dave turned his attention elsewhere. Then Rogers came into the story.
I can't tell from just looking at the site if it is any different than before, I don't see any new features and much of the wording is the same as it was 2 years ago. - nethelpers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1For a list of the best RSS feeds in the following categories: Hacks, Tweaks and Life Tips, Internet Buzz, Web 2.0, New Sites, Blogging Tips, Tech News, Internet Marketing, Affiliates News and Webmaster Tools, check out this list: http://www.6initiative.com/my-favorite-rss-feeds-aggregated-to-one-feed-for-every-category/
- blurtheimage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why is digg 16 AND 22 on the top 100?
http://share.opml.org/rankings/ - keesj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Probably there are some different feeds (like atom and the other one), or maybe some people use http://digg.com/etc.. and other people are using http://www.digg.com/etc..
- gekkokid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1do them :) good luck
- rodrigomuniz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ranking - This could be a bloglines' feature like toplinks and of the other feed readers. We get a xml from rankings of them that could be joined.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1is there a way to convert my html bookmarks into opml feeds?
- learnoutloud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I was happy to see this. I had wrote about this on my blog back in January (http://www.learnoutloud.com/content/blog/archives/2006/01/the_dirty_dozen.html - prediction #8) and it's cool to see it come to fruition. No doubt some other features will be added to it that'll make it an even more useful tool for feed discovery. And certainly someone could do something like this for podcasts too right?
- Dotnetsky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This site is extremely "bare" compared to what I would expect. There isn't even a search facility. Too bad. It's a great concept, probably anybody in the above list of comments could do it a lot better. I know I could. Regarding Dave Winer, he has his plusses and minuses just like anybody else. Just because somebody says he's an ***** doesn't necessarily mean he is. He's partly responsible for the existence of SOAP, so count your blessings.
