- Moniker42, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's a 404 error now, is there a problem with the server at the moment or is it a bad link?
- antispammer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That list is tiny! You want a real list check out http://remember.mine.nu/
- gauret, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hi. I'm the webmaster of this site. The list is NOT quality controlled, since I'm alone, and I just can't test every additions alone, it would be a full-time job.
When viewing the list, the visitor can delete patterns. So it's user-maintained, pretty much like a wiki.
I can't let this list grow indefinitely, so if nobody helps me maintaining it, I think I'll just leave the best patterns and close additions.
Actually, I'm doubful about it. The patterns a user needs depend on his surfing habits. I don't think that there can be "one list of patterns to rule them all".
Right now, I don't know what I'll do. - ass_master, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is a great idea, but they guys running it don't seem to be doing any quality control. Someone had put "http://*/ad" as one of the filters, which sounds great, except you can't buy anything on amazon because their "add to cart" button is filtered out. Took me a while to figure out it was adblock, longer to get rid of the problem, and even longer to figure out why the hell that filter was in there. Turns out I had used this website.
just an fyi, great idea, no quaility control. - shanafme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Been looking for something like this for a long time.
