Sheesh everyone needs to get over themselves, if you have something constructive to say then say it, just keep it to the article, this meandering about how old something is is pretty ***** pointless, either comment on the article at hand or move on. ***** we all can read the front page just as well as you can, so if we can skip old articles why can't you? I think it's time for the little kids to grow up and start thinking seriously about the stuff that's on here. If people digg it, it must be important to somebody; respect that and live with it.

I think people will agree that Digg is a place to post things that have been posted on the web relatively recently. I don't come here to see old stuff. I come here for new things to keep me occupied. 2) Digg is supposed to be whatever the community wants it to be. And if a story makes it to the front page, it means that enough people thought that this particular story was exactly what Digg is intended for.
