  • markfulton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Saved my arse. Damn power outage zapped my bookmarks, this method helped me find a backup and import it.
  • AustinLife, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Direct and to the point article - thanx for posting it. Somehow I'd trashed my bookmarks folder totally, went to the page linked and used the method of (make sure you close browser first) grabbing the last good saved bookmark backup in the 'bookmarkbackup folder', renaming it to bookmarks, going back to the 'profile' directory, deleting the existing trashed bookmarks file and pasting in the one I'd just created from the last good backup. Piece of cake; opened the browser and all was good.
