- jazzboj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Slingbox is THE best "gadget" for the ex-pats of the world who are stationed out of their home country and want to view their television options at home. Replay SlingCorder is THE perfect addition. It perfectly records the Slingbox stream and allows you to watch it at your convenience (actually better than the "live" stream), AND cut a CD (208 mb for a 2 hr. movie) or DVD for playing back over a regular DVD & TV in addition to your PC desk or laptop. For $30 bucks it is a tremendous bargain.
- taterblade, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I went through all kinds of gyrations trying to record the slingbox stream - so I could watch it when I was not connected to the net. I tried Windows Media Encoder (got it work- sort of - its really difficult to config -its free but results are iffy at best), CAMTasia, & Snagit. are also send to work - if you already own them try it Sing Recorder is the answer that SlingMedia should have included with the box. ANOTHER $30 BUCKS... My wife is tired of all these continuing expenses for entertainment ;)
