- Remmy, on 12/17/2007, -5/+124I'm having flashbacks to 1999 when skinning IE was cool. Those flashbacks aren't good by the way.

The "greatest"? Hardly.. I actually think it's kind of ugly. - inactive, on 12/17/2007, -11/+45Memory requirements of 2017.
- mstoneburner, on 12/17/2007, -10/+38Heaven forbid that you use the ***** REPLY BUTTON.
- samuelcotterall, on 12/17/2007, -0/+25Winamp Themes for 2008.
- starfisch, on 12/17/2007, -0/+23That firefox mask is frightening
- sockpuppets, on 12/17/2007, -0/+21Using a McTheme?
- quaunaut, on 12/17/2007, -4/+23Or not. 3.0 has reduced the memory footprint HUGELY.
- Tyr7BE, on 12/17/2007, -4/+21Actually no. A reasonable memory footprint is one of the key features of FF3.0. Try not to be one of those kids whose perceptions are forever stuck a generation or 3 behind reality. You know the type. "IE lacks tabbed browsing", "Gnome has no features and won't let you do basic things", "Linux has no eye candy", etc etc. It's like you people stopped reading release notes in 1998 and are forever stuck spouting the version cached in your browser.
- Breepee, on 12/17/2007, -1/+16It's fugly.
- arcooke, on 12/17/2007, -1/+16It can change their hue to match the color, which makes it look good.
Graphical tabs would be overkill. - centran, on 12/17/2007, -0/+14It is pretty nice. Might be enjoyable for the holidays.
The only problem is that a lot of the persona's are way too distracting to use for everyday web surfing, - ostracize, on 12/17/2007, -0/+12Doesn't seem to work well with a lot of other themes (iPox is my favourite and it won't jibe), but just use this on the default and it looks awesome.
- MerryMortician, on 12/17/2007, -1/+11looks like a "pedofox" mask.
- sockpuppets, on 12/17/2007, -4/+14Because we all know opera invented themes.
- inactive, on 12/17/2007, -0/+9@Tyr7BE and @quaunaut
Come on now, I'm just kidding, I'm using Firefox myself! - cbeard, on 12/17/2007, -7/+16@MikeonTV: This prototype version has only been tested on the default themes that ship with Firefox from mozilla.org. Support for other Themes is something that could be done, although a bit complex given that Themes can and do change a lot of the underlying code.
- jacobmiller, on 12/17/2007, -0/+9I like the snowman theme...
- AAK15, on 12/17/2007, -0/+9i really like it. seems to integrate a lot better than themes that are add-ons
- Smalldude76, on 12/17/2007, -8/+17Calm down, champ. It's not the end of the world.
- estacado, on 12/17/2007, -0/+7What are difference(s) between heavy weight and light weight themes? Are the difference(s) good enough to justify a separate module? Will my browsing experience differ and/or improve by using light weight themes instead of heavy weight themes?
- Bridea, on 12/17/2007, -3/+10meh, it's cool for a few minutes then you get bored.
- tempusrob, on 12/17/2007, -0/+6It looks like IE7 ... why would you do that to yourself?
- PueSi, on 12/17/2007, -1/+7Well FF3 is still a beta.
- dcconz, on 12/17/2007, -1/+7I was thinking the same thing Remmy. The themes I tried look ugly and to busy. not for me.
- ChrisWalkr, on 12/17/2007, -1/+7Word.
- Coletrickle, on 12/17/2007, -3/+8it is of mine.....
well maybe not, but still. As if digg comment system isn't broken enough, people should at least use it the right way ;) - DasCrackbaby, on 12/17/2007, -1/+6People don't like that comment, Apparently
- sockpuppets, on 12/17/2007, -0/+5Buried as spam for you. Happy holidays!
- Ignitedude, on 12/17/2007, -0/+5Neat idea, though the majority of the themes aren't too my taste. I've got to admit the snowman persona is rather nice though.
- centran, on 12/17/2007, -0/+5This module seems to only add a nice pretty picture to the top menu area and the bottom status bar area. It is nice because it is dynamic and you don't have to search, download, install themes. Just select from the menu,
I believe the more heavy weight themes refer to the ones that do changes to every aspect such as the different bars(file, bookmark, tabs) and buttons.
So the heavy weight themes are more full and customized as apposed to this which is just a pretty picture overlay(or more so underlay). - inactive, on 12/17/2007, -0/+5DUH! You like, have NO friends who can spam digg your submission to the front page.
This site is like ***** High School, and Mr Baby Man is the stereotypical ***** school jock. - voyvf, on 12/17/2007, -1/+6I don't think I could work using that theme. Vomit, yes. Work, no.
- datagrim, on 12/17/2007, -2/+7Seeing as how Firefox is based on Mozilla, which is based on Netscape, I'm going to disagree with you on that.
- Sacrifice, on 12/17/2007, -0/+4While many of the "Personas" are indeed horrible, I think it has potential. The main problem is that most of them do not mesh with the rest of the UI (especially the icons and tabs). For Personas to look sleek, it will have to change everything to a uniform design.
So far I like the Firefox Logo Persona the best, though I would still fade it so it is not so pronounced and more in the background. It could be used as the default UI, giving Firefox a bit more personality. Perhaps make the back and forward buttons a reddish orange color to match the Firefox icon? - Slicebox, on 12/17/2007, -0/+4I'm a Tango man, myself.
- Burn, on 12/17/2007, -1/+5Agreed, it's horrible.
- russellnation, on 12/17/2007, -1/+5yeah ill stick to my ubuntu studio's dark grey theme -> way better than crappy pictured themes
- koick, on 12/18/2007, -0/+4Maybe it *is* for 12 year-old girls. You're not the only one who uses a web browser. (I'm not installing it either by the way)
- Pegritz, on 12/18/2007, -0/+3Wow--this is actually really cool! The California Sunset theme/persona/whatever is really pretty and easy on the eyes. I like the idea behind this: small, simple, very *basic* visual styles instead of clunky, graphics-heavy themes that change waaaaaaaayy too much about the browser window. It's really nice if you just want a visual break from the usual bland Firefox UI but don't want to worry about downloading and installing a ton of badly-designed themes.
- coheedcollapse, on 12/17/2007, -0/+3It also makes them transparent so you can see the whatever is behind them when they aren't selected.
- AdamTReineke, on 12/18/2007, -0/+3Now, if websites can interact with this, that would be cool. Go to Digg, and your browser snap to the Digg color scheme and place the Digg logo nicely in the upper right corner? Heck yeah!
- nevioth, on 12/17/2007, -0/+3http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hotbar - Smells Hotbar anyone? I mean, Hotbar without the spam, but still...what? customizable window background? Or did i miss something...
- spanglegluppet, on 12/18/2007, -1/+4Unfortunately, all of the themes are as ugly as hell.
- Youssif, on 12/17/2007, -2/+5I can see clearly how Digg working now:

Submitted on 12/15/2007 - Roger, on 12/17/2007, -2/+5I remember doing this in IE3 more than 10 years ago.
- phantasyhero, on 12/17/2007, -2/+5It's pretty, I may use this.
- sucraloser, on 12/18/2007, -0/+3Echoes of iGoogle, anyone?
I also wish there were some more, umm... subtly-crafted options. As cute as little animu foxes are, the bright colors make me feel like I'm drowning in a Windows 95 desktop. - estvir, on 12/18/2007, -1/+4Wow, that's hideous.
