- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -6/+181As great news as this is make sure to watch the episodes on air! We can't have pushed this hard for the show to just download bittorrent leaks! They gave us the content we want, give them the ratings they want!
- darkane, on 01/14/2008, -4/+77I'll pass. As much as I love this show, it would kill me to watch three episodes now, and have to wait 6 weeks to watch the fourth.
- Landeyda, on 01/14/2008, -4/+54This reeks of a network leak, to create buzz for the show.
- evilbunnys2, on 01/14/2008, -4/+49This not be software...
- imightbewrong, on 01/14/2008, -13/+55Heroes is not on par with Lost
- whatthefu, on 01/14/2008, -2/+42Yeah, really. Everyone watch Jericho. I don't even like Jericho but I would like networks to be more open to bringing shows back in the future at fan insistence.
- otatop, on 01/14/2008, -3/+42Do you have a ratings box? If not, it doesn't matter how you see the show.

- reed311, on 01/14/2008, -1/+35FYI ratings only increase if you are using a Nielson box, so it wouldn't matter if you watched it or not if you don't have one of those boxes.
- brianbennett, on 01/14/2008, -0/+28...especially if you're a Neilson family.
- evilbunnys2, on 01/14/2008, -10/+32GTFO. If you actually read the article you would see that sometimes the makers leak them. If they get leaked then it starts spreading everywhere, which gives the show more publicity.
"The official premiere date of the second season was set for February 12, 2008, but today, several weeks before the planned return, the first three episodes of season 2 (ripped from a promotional DVDscreener) are already uploaded to several BitTorrent sites. Perhaps the recent leaks are a gift to the dedicated fans of the show?
It certainly wouldn’t be the first time that TV-shows were leaked on purpose. Last fall an unusually large number of pre-air TV shows appeared on BitTorrent sites, in some cases several months before their scheduled air dates. Many of those leaks appear to be inside jobs, and TV executives are starting to realize that leaking shows to BitTorrent can help promote them." - TF - althanis, on 01/14/2008, -3/+24I can has software?
- Sparticuz, on 01/14/2008, -6/+25Why is this in the software category?
- dvsbastard, on 01/14/2008, -1/+20This story is about a leak... Digg needs a plumbing section...
- Tyrghast, on 01/14/2008, -5/+22Too bad Fox doesn't bring back any of the good shows it cancels (firefly, anyone?)
- eberts, on 01/14/2008, -4/+21Absolute network leak. A viral campaign brought it back, they're just trying to stoke the fire.
DL away, it's what they want. - TheWiseNoob, on 01/14/2008, -5/+21Is this show on par with other shows like Lost and Heroes?
- MindTrigger, on 01/14/2008, -4/+19Unless something has changed recently....
This is not Season 2, officially. According to the parent network, the show is still canceled, but they decided to create this short run add-on to condense 22 episodes down to 7, tie a few loose ends up in the story and shut the fans up. They figured it would be a decent show to stick on the air when one of the new shows gets canceled this season.
They did say that if the ratings were good on this non-season 2, they might revive the show. - rancidpony, on 01/14/2008, -3/+17If you think they leaked the show on purpose for promotional reasons digg this up.
- Hexxagonal, on 01/14/2008, -1/+14make sure you GO TO CBS.COM and watch them IF YOU ARE NOT A NIELSON FAMILY
- homerj1965, on 01/14/2008, -13/+26They are good quality also. Watching them right now.
- Judacious, on 01/14/2008, -1/+13It worked, I never heard of this show but I'm downloading the three episodes right now.
- merper, on 01/14/2008, -5/+17The first couple episodes are good. Then the show turns into a soap opera for the next ten, which is why it lost so many people. But then it got back to realizing that they were dealing with a town living in a post nuclear USA and went back to the main plot and the end of the Season was pretty damn good. Having just seen the three leaked episodes, I'd say they've got their act back together. I'd place it somewhere between Heroes and Lost(Heroes being < Lost)
- fadetoone, on 01/14/2008, -0/+12Cable companies can track by DVR...
- Dradu, on 01/14/2008, -2/+14Very insightful, your point came across quite well.
- antdude, on 01/14/2008, -1/+12How about TiVo and cbs.com?
- one2gamble, on 01/14/2008, -1/+12Im going to try and avoid downloading this, I loved the show and I want it to at least end this time around.
I does feel like a network leak though, where else would the episodes come from? - Linh, on 01/14/2008, -1/+12Really, this is how shows should be. A story should be known beforehand, and written and ended. Lost should be over in the next season, but it's not. Alias could have been another good one to just make into 3 good solid seasons.
- Oomsoup, on 01/14/2008, -2/+13Not this year. Well not last year either but it was much closer.
- MidwestDrummer, on 01/14/2008, -1/+11Actually it was officially un-canceled. If the rating suck for season 2, then it will be canceled again.
- shawnanigans, on 01/14/2008, -1/+11Arrested Development everyone else.
- MidwestDrummer, on 01/14/2008, -1/+11Do I think this is a CBS leak? I don't know. Is it possible? Very much so, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least. I'm downloading right now, but I still haven't made up my mind yet, as to whether or not I want to watch the episodes. If I wait, they'll look pretty good in HD on my 42" LCD. Decisions, decisions...
- psiDevil98, on 01/14/2008, -1/+10damn. good point.
- TheDude1122, on 01/14/2008, -4/+13No No No, He said good shows.
- reed311, on 01/14/2008, -1/+10You are speculating. Sometimes bands give away their albums for free, but that doesn't mean all of them want to.
- murf43143, on 01/14/2008, -3/+12This show truly is original and well done. I have enjoyed every moment I have watched it. I also have enjoyed almost every minute of lost and heroes.
Not nearly as many filler eps in this show. Straight up, well acted action. - coheedcollapse, on 01/14/2008, -0/+8They're totally doing this on purpose. I remember how like 80% of the Fall season premiers leaked like two months early and nothing else has leaked since. I think it's a publicity stunt - and I applaud them for it if it is.
- LimeParrot, on 01/14/2008, -0/+8Yep. Although I always liked Lost a lot more, I had respect for season 1 of Heroes... but season 2 was a HUGE disaster.
- camintmier, on 01/14/2008, -0/+8This show takes "Someone set us up the bomb" to a whole new level.
- AudioPhil3, on 01/14/2008, -0/+7Correct.
- Oomsoup, on 01/14/2008, -1/+8I think you did yourself a disservice by stopping after only 2. It actually got quite a bit better. I felt the same as you but I gave it a shot and I'm pretty glad I did.
- Kelmon, on 01/14/2008, -1/+8It's all personal opinion but I found Heroes and Jericho to be absolutely gripping shows when they aired in Belgium whereas I've stopped watching Lost despite really loving that originally. The second season tends to be a problem for a lot of shows so it will be interesting to see where Jericho goes but I will be buying Season 1 as soon as it hits DVD. Mind you, I also really liked Firefire and we all know how that turned out.
Anyway, suffice to say that there must have been enough people who liked the first season and protested its cancellation to return it from the dead so try watching it and you might be a fan as well. - SillyDigger, on 01/14/2008, -1/+7If you happen to be a "Nielsen Household", yes.
- spyd3rweb, on 01/14/2008, -0/+6They're in your TV keeping track of what you watch?
- SillyDigger, on 01/14/2008, -0/+6murf43143 unless you have a nielsen box it doesn't matter if you watch or not.
- ShyGuy91284, on 01/14/2008, -0/+6I've always loved the idea of free first-episodes (like how they said limited leaks can be good for promotionional purposes of a show). Companies that are willing to put the first episode of one of their shows in a place where people aren't really paying for it (like I believe some anime magazines have done) would probably only do so if they thought the show was good.
- SonicAD, on 01/14/2008, -0/+6Well, it's definitely going on the air (though helped along by the writers' strike). Tuesdays at 10 starting Feb. 12.
- yabos, on 01/14/2008, -1/+7Same here. I like that show enough that I wouldn't want to lose it again because of this leak.
- Xizer, on 01/14/2008, -1/+7Hereos? Didn't I have some of those for breakfast this morning?
- Wailord, on 01/14/2008, -8/+13Uh, isn't this...less incentive for CBS to continue the show?
