- apotropaic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4General rule of thumb for situations like this... if you don't like the rules, make your own damn forum and quit bitching about somebody else's! They are the ones that have taken the time to start and grow the forum so they set the rules.... PERIOD.

If this admin want a discussion to compare JAVA to .NET (but hey don't talk about .NET)
why did he open the discussion in the first place!
he must call it JAVA rock, .NET sucks! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If you are considering rules the best way to manage, so why all the people are fighting their governments to get more freedom and less rules, especially silly ones like Don't Argue
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The same mindset applies everywhere, if you don't accept the others' opinions so why you bother yourself and open a public community if you are going to enforce people to say what you want. just make a blog and say any ***** you want
- apotropaic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Forum admins != a government. Its just a few guys who sat around one day and decided hey... lets create a forum about Java and .net, but without making it about comparing the two and getting into fanboy arguments. So they all agreed and started a forum, then comes along this schmuck and decides that he's going to argue that .net is better then Java... and then cries when he gets banned. Sorry schmuck, those are the rules, its his forum, go make your own forum called JavaAndDotNetFanboysArgue.com
Its not about managing anything... its about it being his way or make your own forum your way. - hishamabdo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2this is really bad.. java guys do not stand arguing with .NET gurus.... so they just ban you..
come on guys... - Walas, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Digging
