Brilliant! - RazorCrusade, on 10/12/2007, -2/+61When I show chicks the high scores I got on internet flash games, they just fall all over me. True story. Luckily they're not dumb enough to know I cheated to get them!! Ha ha! I am a true champion of the world!
- xerus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14After learning to make a keyboard macro that types out the entire alphabet in 0.2 seconds to increase my e-penis size, I decided to call it quits :I
- Gathalimay, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8I don't see why you'd care about high scores on the Internet. It shouldn't really matter to anyone. Unless it is your life, in which case I pity you. I find that going through this just for a high score is a waste of time.
Plus, you receive -10000 to respect for being a cheater. - P3ST4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Or you can do it with ArtMoney. Google it.
I used this in school all the time and got pretty much any score I wanted. Easy to use, just search for an integer. Change it, and bam. High score. - thenativeraver, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Check out flare. it works pretty well, just right-click on the swf and select decompile.
http://www.nowrap.de/flare.html - jues, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Urgh, why is flash so hideously insecure? Can someone point to an article on flash security, please?
- ultraelite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5think about the hacked versions of line rider gathalimay
- TD_Birds, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Best line from this article-
"If you're using Firefox, go to Page Info. If you're using IE, get firefox." - ikickass, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Whats the point? its not like you can save the highscores to online arcades that require the flash file to be on the server. if you can figure out a way to run a local copy of the game and save the scores to the server let me know, i want to start showing off in arcades like http://www.penguinofchaos.com/forum/index.php?s=2a6601f184f482b1c1f4f2f0b32755e7&autocom=arcade
- strictnein, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Flash isn't insecure. People just suck at coding.
- jupo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The two main areas you need to cover are encryption of the swf's actionscript, and communication between the swf and your server if applicable.
This product is an extremely thorough swf encyption tool and well worth the money - http://www.amayeta.com/software/swfencrypt/
As for encrypting traffic between the swf and server, use a secure certificate over https. - digitalunltd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Hacking flash is so 1997, does any one know how to decompile .dcr (director files)? As far as I know you cant.
- gommle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Cheat Engine is great. I won't work for Flash 8 and 9 though :(
But the easiest way is to use the Firefox extension Tamper Data. Just modify the data sent to the server :) - ascott9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2someone try to get winter bells from ferry halim.
http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/g3/bells.htm
I downloaded and decompiled and it shows some stuff but you can't play the version you downloaded or the recompiled version. The swf is really small too. Does anyone know what trick he is using to hide the real swf? - kevyn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2nice little how to, written very simple and quite funny! especially the bit about IE lol
- Sarevok9, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Lol ever since learning to type the full english alphabet in under 3.7 seconds just to beat my g/f at a blash game, i decided to call it quits ><
- ascott9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1figured something out
in the same directory he has another swf named bells.swf instead of what it looks to be 0bells.swf. It shows loading screen if I put both the files in the same directory and run 0bells.swf but still doesn't work - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I did a typing game for a while until i was insanely fast ... at typing the very limited vocabulary of the game
- tuxidomasx, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3no need to decompile. most flash games have flash variables that can be modified through javascript in-browser.
pull up flash mx or flash 8, debug the proggy to figure out what the hot variables are, then javascript inject them ***** ya heard? - alchemista, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There were games recently in the UK that were giving away large prizes for top scorers (£500 travel vouchers, £250 rally car driving experiences, weekend european hotels, etc). It was obvious that people were cheating (e.g. someone posted a username that was longer than was allowed to enter in the normal game field). I tested that the game could be cheated, but didn't actually make myself the winner because I figured that would be cheating, plus technically this is illegal. The UK's Computer Misuse Act disallows even remote unauthorized modification of data on a server.
As companies realize this can be cheated so easily, I assume they wouldn't give out valuable awards for winning. But, who knows.... - Pilgrim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1FTW...now I can beat my buddy from school at Defend(ing) the castle!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1you can also use the videodownloader extension. on most cases it's easier
- TimRogers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A pretty nice tutorial actually. Pity that not many games have high score systems :(
- inactive, on 03/15/2009, -0/+1no hacked games but tons of fun ones.
http://www.leetflashgames.com - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I need a Mac Artmoney-like program, does anyone know of one?
- NoFear1183, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Whats the point? its not like you can save the high scores to online arcades that require the flash file to be on the server. if you can figure out a way to run a local copy of the game and save the scores to the server let me know, i want to start showing off in arcades like http://www.penguinofchaos.com/forum/index.php?s=2a6601f184f482b1c1f4f2f0b32755e7&autocom=arcade"
Use Firefox for a browser... Download a an add-on called Tamper Data... You can figure the rest out - netferret, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I normally just use a live memory editor, its a bit quicker. Also you can use it on online games to rig it so you can win money etc.
- bg2500, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I might use this if I ever get into flash programming. It's always helpful to look at other peoples programs to see how they did something. I couldn't care less about hacking for high scores though.
- Sivvy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Another more generic and faster way is to use t-search. Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsearch for more info.
- djrbx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"The process of downloading a flash game is simple. Right-click on the web on which the game is located. DO NOT RIGHT-CLICK ON THE GAME ITSELF, cause that gets you nowhere. If you're using Firefox, go to Page Info. If you're using IE, get firefox."
I love the last sentence - ascott9, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1well the bells.swf in that same directory is a 4000 line txt file when disassembled. There has got to be something that we can edit to at least play this game without being on the website. I tried changing that php file us see to a full URL with no success.
- GamingNews, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1If you have to do this to get a good score, you're probably too stupid to follow the instructions, or certainly do not have proper command of your keyboard and mouse. Personally, I'd prefer to edit the games to increase the difficulty level.
- TarGz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hack flash game by downloading and extracting the source could be very complex, I really prefer to use artmoney to edit the score in memory. try :
http://www.artmoney.ru - laxative, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's also this .php file it's referring to.
http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/g3/b3b0p500.php
Guess it's a lost cause. - foilist61, on 02/19/2009, -0/+0Oh yeah, a champion of the world cause you can hack the memory on a flash game? And are completely retarded. Just read that sentence over one more time, "Luckily they're not dumb enough to know I cheated to get them!" I think there the word you would need is smart enough. Before you go making fun of the ugly females that fawn over you, make sure you are smarter than them. If you wanna prove yourself as a hacker/ modder get a hack or two to work on an MMORPG with protection against these sorts of things.
-Hans - wafflez, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2anyone with common sense already knew how to do this >_> and at gathalimay, when flash games were cool this was relevant =D
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I just use "view source" on SVG :-)
On the desktop browser, mobile phone and Wii

- Poopfacemanboy, on 05/25/2008, -0/+0this is very basic hacking theres a lot more advanced stuff out there
http://www.opiumtest2.blogspot.com/ - pianotamer, on 10/23/2008, -0/+0Ya all those hot girls that really care about flash games... especially good if you need to impress the girl over in accounting, in the cubicle next to yours...
- Cheesecar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome, simply awesome. One thing though, on step three part two where you type "flasm -d yourgame.smf > yourgame.txt" it keeps saying that either flasm isnt a valid command or that it can't be converted to txt, like it makes the notepad file but nothings on it.
- johndoe523, on 01/07/2008, -0/+0What programme do you guys use to edit flash files ? The best (so far) I've found is TRILLIX by eltima software However, Ive found I can VIEW files - Not sure how to edit files (as yet)... I'm trying to edit Bloons Tower Defense 2 - Presented by AddictingGames I see lots of Files within the code - However I cant find anything "useful" to edit.. (if I can edit in Trillix)

i can teach a monkey to hack a flash game
_______________________________________
Can u please teach me? I only made a bit from the tutorial from CE. And I hacked the highscore, but I dont know how to hack wepons + unlimited ammo. - r4z13ll, on 03/24/2008, -0/+0Try my cheating program, created by me.
It's working great.
And shows the variables of the flash game and values. Easier to cheat then ever.
All you have to do is load the swf file and go go go :)
the link is http://www.top-design.ro/r4zcheater/ - greeny6000, on 03/14/2008, -0/+0Hey guys
- If your looking for hacked flash swf games try http://www.arcadetrainer.com - You can also submit your hacked games there. - theaznkid1013, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Guys its not that hard to hack a flash game. Anyone can do it, i bet i can teach a monkey to hack a flash game. for example the game boxhead 2 play, i hacked it easy. i hacked the number of kills so i could unlock all the weapons, i also hacked the ammo for all the weapons so i could have unlimited ammo. and now i have the second or third highest score. i would have gotten the top highscore but this other kid beat me to be hacking his score which is kinda gay but i respect that he knows how to hack it. so all in all hacking a flash game isnt so hard just learn how to read and your set to go.
- moongrl913, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1n-game kills me, but again i must say i will not compromise my dignity... though i have to admit it has very detailed instructions that are easy to follow... that is, if i were to ever follow them...
- Digcraft, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2wow! lame .
This is just a single case. Most flash programs and games are coded in such weird manner that , its almost impossible to hack them even if you have the source!!!!! -
