Google Chrome browser is coming: open-source attack on IE8

slashgear.com — Google are preparing to launch an open-source browser called Chrome, which will take on IE8, Opera 9 and Firefox. Integrating advanced search, Google Gears, a constantly updated malware protection system and a specially coded JavaScript engine, it'll further blur the difference between traditional software and webapps.
