- alterself, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11a link to the official microsoft site, or a crappy yahoo story...hmmm, wonder why this one hit front page and the other did nothing....
- rpike, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Because your using something other than Internet Explorer to view it.
- astrotrain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Whats this guy going to to.. byte the metal door off a 3.5" floppy?
"The Ozzman Cometh, and breaketh your system!" - jasoneisen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Why are the footers on Microsoft's pages so much empty space?
- moeq, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5They need all that extra space to store all their MONEY!
;D - PAlacrosse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Ha ha the Ozzie's used to be my neighbor, they moved a few years ago, his son Alex said he was going to get a big promotion. his parents bought him a house here a few months ago so he can visit and such. I guess we know what that big promotion was now.
- Never, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I'll digg what i see & read first!!! not who post first, except if the other is more informative.
- donsmith, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5These are not dupes. The Yahoo article is an actual AP written story -digging. The MS link is just a corporate bio - no digg.
- OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Sounds like MS has got themselves another "winner."
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'd rather get to know my toilet.
- projektmayhem, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3where has J Allard actually been since the 360 launch? or is he cleaning peter moore's shoes?
- OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1
Whats this guy going to to.. byte the metal door off a 3.5" floppy?
Enraged biting of inanimate objects is still Steve Ballmer's responsibility AFAIK. - inturnaround, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Why? J Allard is needed on the Xbox team so Peter Moore can overshadow someone.
- gamekid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Apparently, Jammno has grown up.
(hint: See the bottom-left photo on http://jammno.ytmnd.com/ then look at the photo on Ozzie's profile.) - OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Did they use PCs or Macs at home?
- alex007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What was his previous role at Microsoft?
- DaffyDuck, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4"1. Lotus Notes."
Oh boy. Microsoft is doomed. That program is the scourge of mankind. I hope he didn't have a lot to do with it.
edit: Just RTFA. Apparently he created that abomination. Ouch. - williamdyer, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Three things you ought to know about Ray Ozzie:
1. Lotus Notes. (OK, there's really only one thing you need to know to know why M$ will stay ***** up and maybe get worse, but I'll give you the other two anyway.)
2. Groove. The most expensively developed and least-used p2p product ever. Never heard of Groove? Neither has anyone else. M$ pumped $50 MILLION in investment into this turkey.
3. He's a Cutler fanboy. Lotus Notes is VAXNotes. I think they even worked together at Digital.
It's going to be the same big-late project crap as ever at Microsoft.
Oh, and here's a bonus reason to think Ray Ozzie the new boss is same as the old boss: Lotus Notes uses key-escrow encryption and has law enforcement back doors built in. Nice that someone with that kind of background is running Windows now. Bend over for Big Brother. - tony526, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0PAlacrosse,
Ozzie lives in Manchester Ma now by the ocean. If you wouldn't mind please contact me I have a question for you. Thanks! - tony526, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ozzie lives in Manchester Ma now by the ocean. If you wouldn't mind please contact me I have a question for you. Thanks!
tony junman @ verizon.net - fleetskeet, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4"Ray Ozzie, the creator of IBM Corp.’s Lotus Notes..." That's all it took for me to hate him.
- neoknight, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4why digg one, when you can digg two
- inturnaround, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2Insert (F)Ozzie Bear, Ozzy Osbourne or, for you old-tymey Diggers, Ozzie Nelson jokes here.
- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Ozzie ver 1.0
- TheNik, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1This guy looks pretty stylish.
They should have got J Allard to do it, though. :"( - Bhav01, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0Sounds like a rapper...
- blobzorz, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3Wow its already on the front page... wtf.
- wayjer, on 10/12/2007, -16/+5This is a duplicate story please digg the original here:
