GMail's undefined javascript issues

  • ntulip, on 07/09/2008, -0/+2this is weird - most of my other messages have UndefinedX instead of Recipient Name. Its not a Firefox/Better Gmail Issue since I disabled all extensions and try it that way.

    Google - are you listening? Please do ask for permission before "emulating" my account.

  • pdub23, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1I'm having the same problem, seems to be getting worse, as I have drafts now that I can't send and also the rich text editor is not loading up. But I've just clicked the "Older Version" link at the top right and things are working again. I'm sure they'll fix this issue soon enough.

  • ntulip, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1Actually - Gmail Conversatio Preview is not the only script. I was still having issues with Chat after disabling Gmail Conversation preview.

    I've also disabled: Gmail Macros and Gmail Label Colors

    Now we're back to normal.

    Sort of like VirtuaGirl or whatever that thing was called.

  • kenley, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1SOLUTION for undefined gMail problem was greasemonkey script called "Gmail Conversation Preview" - disable this.

  • cbasilio, on 07/10/2008, -0/+0I'm having exactly the same problem on my work computer - but not my colleagues. The problem only happens when I use Firefox - it doesn't show up on IE.

  • davidthew, on 07/09/2008, -0/+0I have the same problem. However, I booted up my wife's laptop and got in with no trouble. She does not have the latest version of OS X.
  • kenley, on 07/09/2008, -0/+0Yes, same problems on my end. I've used Flock and IE successfully - problem happens only in FF3. I've disabled Better Gmail, cleared cache, restarted, etc. No change. A possible related issue is the layout on the iGoogle page seems to have shifted everything over to the right (under that tabs only). Weird.
