- rawnzilla, on 11/26/2008, -5/+58Just because my left hand isn't on the keyboard doesn't mean I'm not using it...
- Splimola, on 11/26/2008, -3/+46I am sure the other hand is just "dangling".
- pckbeta, on 11/25/2008, -3/+39I feel weird making such a simple, non sarcastic comment on digg, but this was an interesting article, plain and simple.
If this is the kind of though that Mozilla puts into their Chinese user base, it is no wonder that Firefox is still my favorite piece of free software. - oblique63, on 11/26/2008, -1/+31dugg for Anime Firefox logo...

- Iczer21, on 11/26/2008, -0/+5Dugg for, "Maxthon is usually included on the CD with the pirated copy of Windows XP that many Chinese have installed."
- vagarach, on 11/26/2008, -1/+6Wow maxthon, people still use that in China! The only reason I even know about it is from my chinese buddies. To me, IE in any form is still horrible.
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+5 The Chinese, he noted, were "letting the information come to them and drilling down when something caught their interest, as opposed to seeking out relevant information and branching out from there."
How does it just come to them? - timpkmn89, on 11/26/2008, -1/+5But now it's built in. All of these things could be done by add-ons, but now they're included.
- orangysb, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4lol uses mouse to type and copy paste symbols wtf?
don't ***** about things you don't know, makes you look like a fool
in China people use HanYu PinYin to input words, which is made up of alphabets, so they use the same keyboard as you and me
in Taiwan they use special symbols that denote pronunciation of Chinese characters to type, those symbols are printed alongside the alphabets on our keyboards
either way you need a keyboard to type Chinese characters - lmbb20, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4Interesting article. As I read this, I am hunched toward my monitor with one hand on my mouse and the other hand supporting the weight of my face.
- CookieOfFortune, on 11/26/2008, -1/+5Except the download site is in Traditional Chinese, aka, hosted in Taiwan.
- orgia, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4多此一举
- theguesser10, on 11/26/2008, -1/+4Yeah, mmhhhhmmmm, ok, how do I get that logo as my firefox logo?
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3FTA: "Web surfers there tend to lean back from the monitor while keeping one hand on the mouse, the other hand dangling. The keyboard is used much less frequently as much of the navigation is done with clicks instead."
Wait, that's how most people surf the web WTF? Maybe we all should download Firefox chinese edition, if you don't mind the censorship that is. - doublefelix, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3Am I the only one who didn't see a Chinese Firefox browser anywhere in that article?
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3You are asking how to download and change an icon.
- benighted, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3你在胡说什么,中文一样也要用键盘输入

- diggdatt, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2If you know where to find the huge PNG version of that let me know. I want that as my wallpaper, plus I plan to make it my icon too.
- perrym, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Live Margins seems interesting
- luet, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Odd that I lean back and just use one hand on my trackpad to surf intranet

- Tyrant505, on 11/26/2008, -0/+1Wait. Why isn't the design right aligned?
- mithrasinvictus, on 11/26/2008, -0/+1That would be the Yahoo browser.

sad. - LeekMibles, on 11/27/2008, -0/+1I've always felt bad for the folks that post the first comment only to have it buried :(
sorry, I buried you too. - smokestack, on 11/30/2008, -0/+1you know, if the place wasn't so god awful filthy I probably would...lol
well, supposing I had a decent digital camera that wasn't on a cell phone.. what am I going to take pictures of? I don't go outside in daylight!
Guess it didn't happen then... no one may enter the man cave anyway;)
but a good cave it is.. - LeekMibles, on 11/27/2008, -0/+1Kinda like surfing Digg until you come across articles that you want to digg and comment on for, um, diggs.
If it wasn't for digg I probably wouldn't even have known that Obama won. Or that goats are magnetic and can fly... - Muler36, on 11/26/2008, -0/+1stay out of this news post, linux lover.
- TheKitchenSinkX, on 11/26/2008, -0/+1Wtf. Who has their hand on the keyboard half the time while browsing? I sure as hell don't, and I'm in the US.
- diggdatt, on 11/26/2008, -0/+1Anyone know where I can get a huge PNG of that new firefox logo? I'd like to have that as wallpaper, hell I'd even buy the t-shirt.

- LeekMibles, on 11/27/2008, -0/+1This is something that I've thought about for a while. In my line of work (graphic and web design and music) I use the mouse almost 100% more than the keyboard. I do use shortcuts but only a few. I've always wished that I could make my own drop down list of commonly used short cuts. A customizable list of all actions and short cuts that you want for any program you want. I'm just a pro-mouse type of guy that's always wondered why folks don't make ***** more mouse friendly. Firefox is absolutely right about the users over here in China though.
I'm American -- born and raised in Chicago but I've been residing in China for the past 7 years. I can tell you that their observations are true. It's just weird how I happen to fit the demographic even though I'm a lao wai. - LeekMibles, on 11/27/2008, -0/+1null, your comment and you name seem ironic to me.
