Kiss all of this annoyance goodbye. - sixkorn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Also Belarc http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html does this plus other information about your PC

As nice as that sounds in a business it is rarely an option. - dagr8tim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's a way to pull that same exact info from the reg.
- capn_caveman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice app... I like the network command line feature. I've also used Winkeyfinder with success in the past.
- ninja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice App
Digg - INHUMANITY, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This will come in handy into getting clients to switch from pirated stuff to legal. Billable hours are da' bomb! :)
- MickeyD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So what is stopping someone from using this utility to get yet another legit working cd key for xp, or office? Access to a network wouldn't be hard...
- alterself, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0awesome!
+digg, but do link directly to the actual news...not a site about a site about a site about... - gotamd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"So what is stopping someone from using this utility to get yet another legit working cd key for xp, or office? Access to a network wouldn't be hard..."
You have to have administrator access to the computer you're trying to get the keys from. That's what would stop you. - ahmerhussain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What if your network is the internet?
- tomacco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Neat program. Kinda buggy though.
I tried it once, it didn't quite get every application on my network (I see a few instances of some apps that it missed). Plus now when I run it with /remoteall, it just returns my local computer. What gives? - mr.tech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It just pulls the keys right from the registry
- NiX0n, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oh, I can't see this proggy being used for illigal purposes at all... hah!
Yeah, Sure, I'm the network administrator. *wink wink* - WackyT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"So what is stopping someone from using this utility to get yet another legit working cd key for xp, or office? Access to a network wouldn't be hard..."
If your net admins are competent at all, the WINREG key is properly set in all machine registries. - BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0+Bookmarked
- ClaiE, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can be more entire.. they forget some kind of Key etc... (I've already done something like that during a professionnal experience in my study)
- WackyT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Didn't know that. So, it'll only operate on the local LAN? Good info. Thanks.
- trinok, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ambiguous title.
Makes me think of so many different things. None of which are Microsoft Product Keys.
No digg. - kentobean, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The free Magic Jellybean Keyfinder does the exact same thing: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml
- Paully, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0would be nice if I could get past the the advert, every time I go to click on close it restarts......advertising gone bad
- agentgray, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0
The ad on the page is kinda cool. - WackyT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Nope i just ran it on a windows xp sp2 computer on which i do not have admin access and it poped up all the correct keys!"
You have a sloppy net admin then. Sounds like it's time to go gathering, then e-mail your admin and his boss all the keys and how you got them. - WackyT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Glad to help out someone with a legitimate need, ckrimmel.
- ckrimmel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm a network/systems administrator with over 200 computers and users. The guy before me didn't document much if at all when it comes to licensing. You just saved my ass some serious time going from machine to machine. Definitely a digg. Thank you!!
- llamagod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ya or you could use magical jelly bean :)
heres the link:http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml - llamagod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oh wait someone already posted that lol
- HowardRoark, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0anyone notice that the remoteall won't go through routers -- kinda sucks with vlans everywhere -- still a great tool
- WackyT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Belarc will not give you the keys for anything above Windows 98, and maybe Me. Windows & Office 2000's keys are encrypted in the registry. This program is able to grab them, though.
- WackyT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's right. Comments here don't like slashes.

CURRENT VERSION - WackyT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Windows 98 keys are easy. They can be fetched using Belarc Advisor, Magic Jellybean, this program, or in the registry in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMICROSOFTWINDOWSCURRENT VERSION - WackyT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yup. Magic Jellybean's a good program too. But it only works on the local machine. Where as ProduKey will grab the keys from all the machines on the network you have administrative rights to.
- rideaurocks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Where was this thread a few weeks ago when I could've saved a Windows 98 key.
(Ubuntu runs for crap on a K6-II) - cryptoknight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0""So what is stopping someone from using this utility to get yet another legit working cd key for xp, or office? Access to a network wouldn't be hard...""
"You have to have administrator access to the computer you're trying to get the keys from. That's what would stop you."
Nope i just ran it on a windows xp sp2 computer on which i do not have admin access and it poped up all the correct keys!

What is Digg?
