This site will be taken down in a few weeks because they can't pretend they're just a search engine for content. - kurupttek, on 09/05/2008, -1/+45I would avoid this
- stevebede, on 09/06/2008, -3/+38All aboard the failboat!
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1212/1272549006_294 ... - locojones, on 09/06/2008, -0/+34Maybe the proprietors should track down the Napster guy and ask him how well hosting content worked out for him.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -3/+26Only 1 gig? Man most games are 3 to 5 gigz now so this is pretty useless. Great idea, poor execution.
- xM55, on 10/02/2009, -0/+18Lol, yeah, this should last long..
- Bozmanbeyond, on 09/06/2008, -2/+14Sounds like a Government trap to me.
- Cymrubeats, on 09/06/2008, -0/+12I opened an account out of curiosity, now that curiosity no longer exists, how the f*ck do i close it?
- DaffyDuck, on 09/06/2008, -1/+11Because if it's not a setup then they probably will keep logs that they will give up in a heartbeat when the government comes after them.
- berryhill, on 09/06/2008, -0/+8Trying it out now, works pretty darn well actually, the site has downloaded well over 1 GB, and I'm downloading from them at a 1,4 MB/s speed, which is my top speed.
But their bandwidth and storage can't hold up if this site really catches on, no way. - inactive, on 09/06/2008, -0/+6Yeah and there's no need to keep that secret, so you might as well just use your own torrent client.
- techfish, on 09/06/2008, -0/+5If you are going to pay $15 a month, you would be better off getting a usenet account. Much faster and secure.
- ZzFDKzZ, on 09/06/2008, -1/+6What about those Steam games?
- ibeetle, on 09/06/2008, -1/+5So, you will not pay money to use this site? However, you will pay money to use some Russian Mp3 site? Weird.
- forchilli, on 09/06/2008, -0/+4I gave it a chance, and it told me no seeds when there was over 2000. Bad bad bad.
- solid12345, on 09/06/2008, -0/+4So let's see, you can either A) spend your money on legal DVD's and CD's to give to business men
or B) spend your money on services to download to give to Russian mobsters and community college business majors who couldn't manage a snack shop and wanted quick riches. - television, on 09/06/2008, -0/+4It costs money to use this service. To use the site you must sign up to ivacy which charges you money for a VPN service.
- maci01, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3Uhh nope, this site is completely different.
- nymphetamine, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3Are any of those sites good?
- bradharrelson, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3If they are open for public registration then they are usually not that great.
HDbits.com is the real HD torrent site, etc. - hitman619, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3"i feel a disturbance in the force"
- LordSturm, on 09/06/2008, -1/+4To ensure it does close down asap, please proceed to loading it with these legal torrents...
http://borft.student.utwente.nl/~mike/oo/bt.rss - skoartrojan2, on 09/05/2008, -1/+3Really cool list ...
Thanks for the information.... - berryhill, on 09/06/2008, -0/+2I found a small trick to gain pretty much unlimited access until the next time you shutdown your computer by the way.
Do everything you're supposed to do, start downloading some files, then shutdown and uninstall the Monitor, and it won't record how much data you're receiving. - theaceoffire, on 09/06/2008, -0/+2Or use it for only legal things (Distro's, etc)
- Pixelpaws, on 09/06/2008, -0/+2That's one gig for free and then a subscription fee, as the article said. And, with so many services online, your mileage may vary.
- TheGuruStud, on 09/06/2008, -0/+2That co-founder must be an Oomph! fan. (the song Zero Endorphine)
- r3bol, on 09/06/2008, -2/+3Why?
- inactive, on 09/06/2008, -1/+2lemming.
- donna1234, on 12/02/2008, -0/+1Users can download torrents via the site, and direct downloads
http://www.highpr.net
http://www.mad4.info
http://vindictivebastard.net
http://www.webthe.info - MforMike, on 09/09/2008, -0/+1This site will be shut down within weeks
- nourkah, on 09/06/2008, -1/+2That's stupid. The whole point of torrents is to be super efficient at downloading huge files. I use torrents even when there is a direct download of something just because if my connection dies or slows down I don't lose the whole download. We moved ahead in downloading technology with torrents and the technology is 'evolving' right back to where it started.
- Scorps111, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1You dont even have to download the monitor i created an account and connected via the VNP using windows, and it doesnt even detect that i have downloaded over 2 gigs
- badgethefarmer, on 09/06/2008, -1/+2yeah, how in the can i close the account i made out of curiosity?
- Uberinuka, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1See what they're currently doing is bad, they are charging for their services, honestly if they want to make that site popular as F*ck, best bet is to place "smart ads" around the site, im not saying the flashy ***** that's an eye strainer when you just want to read that webpage, just a simple ad, and the admin will get paid for it, therefore you don't have to charge people for free content, and since this site is not SUPER stock piled with content its not worth it
- ElBeh, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1It works for most programs, most movies, and most music with the 1-gig trial, but not so much for a few artist discographies and games. Oh well, still useful.
- kruykaze, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1It says no seeds but then it starts.
- seanovan, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1Your internets have advertisements? Weird...
- AceTracer, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1Uh, I use the same bandwidth on EasyNews everyday.
- AceTracer, on 09/07/2008, -2/+3I've been using this service for 12 years, it's called Usenet (EasyNews, Giganews, etc.)
- TheClasher, on 09/06/2008, -0/+0as i can see from their FAQ, they are offering an access to Usenet newsfeed
http://instant-torrents.com/en/help/faq#usenet
anyone cares to check? - neFariou5, on 09/06/2008, -0/+21. Most of those sites are noob.
2. Stop advertising hidden private sites. - Familyguykiller, on 09/07/2008, -1/+1this is a good service for me since my college blocks torrents but i really don't want them to have my email but idk
- webcrumb, on 09/07/2008, -1/+1You broke all three rules.
