- kyledeb, on 07/20/2009, -1/+8Digg needs to get it's act together with this diggbar. The only benefit of the digg bar was that it served as a handy URL shortener that allowed you to share the page directly without people having to click through digg. For digg to take part of that functionality away for users that are not logged in or do not have a digg account is a major problem.
- xpose, on 07/20/2009, -1/+6When will the Digg users realize that Digg's main objective is to drive numbers for its investors. The end user hasn't been thought about in years. Need proof?
What's the last new site addition that truly benefited you? Is it the insanely long load time for a story vote because their algorithm is now 10,000 lines of code? Is it the comment reply notification that has been in the works for years?
Gimme a break. Digg will be an after thought sooner than they think. And it's their own damn fault. - hawksfan03, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2frontpaged already

Your 100% right. They don't care, they never will, Kevin Rose is a ***** trendy hipster.
I get my news from plenty of sites which are better at it than Digg and I suggest you do the same. (You probably already know what I'm talking about). - Mutiny32, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1Looks like someone just jumped the shark...
- wontstoptalking, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1Mmmm....yeah, the Diggbar, while it sounds good on paper, was a pretty big fail. I don't think Digg sucks, though.
And just WHAT did you say about Kevin Rose???!
Oh, and @DarkTranquility:

And @xpose.....I don't see Digg going anywhere soon....I still see it around in four or five years. Unless it's bought out by Google or something. You never know; if it could happen to TPB, I suppose Digg could get purchased out of the blue. - MicrosoftAccess, on 07/20/2009, -1/+1No one said it was an issue for you, read the article
- MicrosoftAccess, on 07/20/2009, -1/+1Thanks for repeating what the article just said
- thelastcivilian, on 07/19/2009, -3/+2This isn't an issue for me, as users who are logged in go directly to the actual page, and not the comments.
However, that would seem to me to be where the problem lies. For someone unfamiliar with Digg (and therefore obviously not logged in), the assumption might be made that the comments page is the intended landing page. Are they supposed to read the comments or the article the comments are about? The original intent of whoever provided the shortened url is lost ∴ confusion reigns. - iNvidious02, on 07/20/2009, -2/+1Its not an issue for me either, but sometimes i randomly get signed out of Digg and need to refresh the page to get back in.
- smacksaw, on 07/20/2009, -2/+1"famous Digg user MrBabyMan is reportedly bashing the change, as are other top Diggers."
Something...cancer...something...killing...something
How else will they generate revenue for themselves if the Digg users aren't making a hit on their client's site? Why, Digg is both annoying the users and interrupting the power users income stream! We're all on the same side for once!

What is Digg?
