- toveling, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I use AnyDVD myself, it's great. Instead of ripping the dvd itself, it just transparently removes the encryption from the drive, letting you rip it with anything you choose. Also removes ads, regions, locks.

I bought a physical disc. I should be able to do anything I want with what I bought.

Are you on crack or do you have an anti-MPAA foaming-at-the-mouth incoherent rant generator installed?
Please work on your reading comprehension - putting the pipe down for a little while helps. - theGrue, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This has basically picked up where DVD Decrypter left off. It's updated regularly to handle all of Sony's crazy new protection schemes.
- dotpage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1downloaded file ID'd by Spybot S&D as "malicious", be aware..
- buck09, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I love this tool. Very easy to use in conjunction with DVDShrink.
Check the comment spam - does this person just not get it? I mean, one of the main reasons to use the product is so that if one disc gets scratched, you can toss it and make another copy from the original... - iSEPIC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Gosh I just love how the average "soccer - joe"s minds are just polluted with false mindsets, I guess by the RIAA and other "sheep" of the net.
- Detour, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I've tried it, but I always use DVDShrink with ANYDVD running in the background.
All you'll ever need.. - trvr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the user reviews say that it works good if DVD Decrypter doesn't work with a certain disc...
- kensavage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What's a good application to write a movie back to a DVD?
- theImposs1ble, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1this works better than dvd decrypter, as it is updated and dvd decrypter is dead. (or it was)
- Philbert, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3"Fight the Power! It's your damn movie, after all..."
To be fair, no it isn't. You've bought the rights to watch that movie under certain conditions. - adml_shake, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0""its a lot simpler than decryptor so its great for beginers no iso mode though"
simpler? The only thing simpler than DVD Decrypter is a tube sock"
You've obviously never tried to explain how to use DVD Decrypter to the avg. Joe. - foxhoundadmin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1edit: 05.04.2006
- c0dek, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2"its a lot simpler than decryptor so its great for beginers no iso mode though"
simpler? The only thing simpler than DVD Decrypter is a tube sock - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, the thing works fine...
- thenativeraver, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This program is coo,
I've used it myself plenty of times - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0its a lot simpler than decryptor so its great for beginers no iso mode though
-wolf - cerveza4lu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Windows only, no Mac support.
- Muddle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've yet to run across any new Sony encryption schemes. The last one was Sony ArccOS, which the later versions of DVD Decrypter handle just fine. I've not had any good reason to try this other program, however I may do so as they seem to claim the ability to rip damaged media. Once in a blue moon DVD Decrypter hangs on a scratch or pinhole even after the disk is polished. DVD Decrypter rips to ISO with two clicks of a mouse, three if you count the click you made to open the program, and you can set DVD Shrink up to automatically use DVD Decrypter to write the backup copy. I don't see how you could make it any easier than that.
- BLKMGK, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Okay, NOT malicious code (lol). It willRIP an entire DVD,it will not allow you toRIP to a single VOB or do anything special exceptperhaps make it ready to edit in some other package or burn to a DVD-R maybe. Not bad but IMO *not* a DVDDecryptor replacement. The search continues and in the meantime I'lluse ANYDVD and DVDDecryptor together...
- BLKMGK, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can it create a single VOB like DVD Decryptor will? Currently I'm using AnyDVD along with DVD Decryptor but a single program to do it all would be VERY nice. Think I looked at an older version previously and never could figure out how to do a single VOB which is what I want when converting movies for my PSP :-)
- iSEPIC, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0@Live4Soccer
WRONG WRONG WRONG! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Oh, what a shock. It's PC only freeware.
- Live4Soccer, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1buck09,
You have something against Crack? Crack helps me think. Crack keeps me warm at night. But most of all, Crack is a fantastic trip to a far off wonderful land. You should try it sometime. :-)
And I'll have you know I threw away the "anti-MPAA foaming-at-the-mouth incoherent rant generator" in favor of the all new and improved "anti-MPAA foaming-at-the-mouth ELEVATED DECIBEL incoherent rant generator"...
So...Setzen Sie sich hinunter die Tastatur und verbringen Sie mehr Qualitätszeit mit Ihrem Freund, der spielt, Fell die Salami anstatt Leute auf digg kritisiert
Thanks for the Digg. Peace
iSEPIC - Say it with me now, "RIAA = Music" and "MPAA = Movies". Who said anything about the RIAA??? This is a DVD RIPPING TOOL, hence not liked by the MPAA. And a big cookie for you for the ever so original "Soccer-Joe" reference. Not sure what Soccer and the RIAA has anything to do with each other but I'm sure somewhere in the echo chamber between your ears there's a rational explanation... - diehard2k5, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Wow. When I saw this digg, it had 666 diggs. I'm sure as hell not downloading it now. Besides, who doesn't have DVD Schrink and DVD Decrypter?
- jtwilkins, on 04/03/2009, -4/+0PC = t3h suck
Get a Mac foo - Live4Soccer, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1"Check the comment spam - does this person just not get it? I mean, one of the main reasons to use the product is so that if one disc gets scratched, you can toss it and make another copy from the original..."
It's ILLEGAL to copy a DVD no matter WHAT the reason. PERIOD.
Hence, "FIGHT THE POWER!" by using programs like this one to fight the Entertainment Mafia and their outdated DRM...It's not "Comment Spam"...it's ANGER.
