- gabrieladiv, on 07/15/2008, -1/+9Hey All-
Gabe Adiv here from TuneUp. Thanks so much for the positive feedback.
@Notorious - Glad you like the cover art icon.
Mac version will be out in the fall. Promise.
Gabe - shibbay, on 07/15/2008, -1/+7TuneUp is pretty rad.... I've been using the beta and it found pretty much all of my songs that were missing album art and other info.
The "now playing" tab is pretty cool too. - CinaMichele, on 07/15/2008, -0/+4just might have to get this one...anyone know about when the mac version is gonna be released?
- notorious., on 07/15/2008, -0/+4Your icons suck. Except for Michael Jackson. I may use this just because of that.
- DamageInc, on 07/16/2008, -0/+3You've been able to do this for years with MusicBrainz. It analyzes, tags, and renames various audio files (mp3s, FLACs, and more) to your specifications, and works on windows, mac, and linux. The music database is user-maintained and is constantly being updated with new music and corrections by the community. Its much better and larger than the private Gracenote database.
I'll probably get dugg down here, but MusicBrainz is far superior than TuneUp and is THE tagging program to get. - jls33fsls, on 07/15/2008, -0/+3I hate when I have a bunch of songs by an artist, but they artist names they are listed under vary slightly like 5 different times so I can't play all of the songs by that artist at once. Apparently this can fix that, although too bad it is only for Windows (for now it says, I'm crossing my fingers as I would like to test this out).
- rippl, on 07/15/2008, -0/+3I am definitely looking forward to the Mac version. My iTunes is hell and why do what TuneUp can do for me? :D
- Phisolo, on 07/16/2008, -0/+2Need a Mac version!
- notorious., on 07/15/2008, -0/+2They just aren't very good and aren't very appealing. That doesn't mean that the application therefore sucks, but it would be nice if they had the total package.
Maybe it's because I'm a Mac user and I've come to expect applications to be visually appealing AND functional. Who knows. - notorious., on 07/15/2008, -0/+2I will hold you to that :)
- ty1973, on 07/15/2008, -0/+1Cool stuff ! I like the synchronization feature with youtube and concert and the album art feature. Don't need to open another browser tab in IE/Firefox to search for related video. Tuneup does it for me. I would love to have a tuneup app on the iphone showing location of concert in town based on the GPS position.
- jls33fsls, on 07/15/2008, -0/+1Well I am a Mac user as well and I love most of the icons, but they aren't always perfect.
- jls33fsls, on 07/15/2008, -2/+1What is so bad about them? Besides, what does it really matter if it actually works. If it doesn't work too well (which I haven't tried it so I don't really know) then okay, it better have some damn sweet icons to make up for it!
