- dstrizzle69, on 05/21/2009, -2/+50Now my porn will load much faster!!! Thank you incognito window!
- BorsKaegel, on 05/21/2009, -2/+42Good grief... Google is bordering on precognitive browsing!
(... which may very well be their next step ...) - Armor1901, on 05/22/2009, -5/+34If Chrome had add on support like Firefox does, I'd be sold.
No, that's probably a lie, I guess. I've been a fan of FF for so long and have been using it for so long, I probably won't ever abandon it. - inactive, on 05/22/2009, -4/+28But can you masturbate 30% faster?
- LonelyTylenoL, on 05/22/2009, -0/+22They have already begun....MUHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA....HAHA...*cough*...
http://www.google.com/mentalplex/ - cowninja, on 05/22/2009, -1/+17I'm glad Chrome is faster but I would really like a working Linux port. I thought Google would be on the ball with that considering a lot of their other applications are supported on Linux.
- castletech, on 05/22/2009, -0/+16I get the feeling I am being taken seriously.
- twiztidsinz, on 05/22/2009, -0/+16How about 30% faster.... then 30% slower?
- twiztidsinz, on 05/22/2009, -0/+15HOLY. *****.
It worked... It ***** worked.
I was looking at the spinny circle and thinking 'April Fools' AND IT SEARCHED FOR IT! - AZRoboto, on 05/22/2009, -0/+14Is that because IE6 says "Done" after forgetting to load the images, formatting, and javascript?
- rieuwa, on 05/22/2009, -1/+15I have to say..... I really really like Chrome's speed. I could never go back to Firefox (or IE)..
- seventoes, on 05/22/2009, -0/+12I think you're the one going to the wrong porn sites.
- JasonCox, on 05/22/2009, -3/+14You're going to the wrong porn sites then, porn sites don't typically have that much JavaScript.
- yocouchdigga, on 05/22/2009, -0/+8I'll continue to use it for fast access but it will remain secondary to FF, until it has comparable add-ons.
- johnkemp, on 05/22/2009, -1/+9That's great... Now get the ***** to work on the *nix port, please.
- roxgod666, on 05/22/2009, -0/+7http://www.gaj-it.com/9798/google-chrome-gets-add- ...
- praveenmarkandu, on 05/22/2009, -0/+7firefox has this feature.... seriously. its called network.prefetch-next in about:config
- killhouse, on 05/22/2009, -1/+8Now Chrome loads the page before you even click the link!
- Thorpe, on 05/22/2009, -1/+8Who the ***** cares?
- AlexiHelligar, on 05/22/2009, -0/+6Until there is a released version for Linux, Google Chrome is dead to me.
- FearlessFreep, on 05/22/2009, -0/+6"with faster and more reliable javascript engines, we can develop great new kinds of web solutions not possible before."
Only if you can assume that a decent portion of your intended users have the capability. - inactive, on 05/22/2009, -2/+8Dugg on my Google Chrome browser ;D
- jpinsonault, on 05/22/2009, -0/+6yes, acid3 still does fail
- capachino, on 05/22/2009, -0/+6Are you kidding? Chrome is open source. I thought Digg users were "informed".
- Nouman6, on 05/22/2009, -2/+8Dugg FROM/USING my google chrome browser.
- Radan, on 05/22/2009, -1/+7It's not the loading that counts it's actually running the code that matters. I don't expect non developers to understand the significance of this, but know this; with faster and more reliable javascript engines, we can develop great new kinds of web solutions not possible before.
- shinkou, on 05/22/2009, -0/+6Does that mean to ejaculate 30% earlier?
- inactive, on 05/22/2009, -0/+6His left ear to right ear ratio are way off.
- craznar, on 05/22/2009, -1/+7Chrome - Get on Top.
- chourobin, on 05/22/2009, -1/+7the speed improvement is noticeable.
- LonelyTylenoL, on 05/22/2009, -1/+6How about 30% slower?
- larrimer7, on 05/22/2009, -0/+5I miss some of the features of Firefox, but the speed and clean interface definitely outdoes its Mozilla counterpart.
- FearlessFreep, on 05/22/2009, -0/+5rivals the blinding performance of Lynx at that
- saddino, on 05/22/2009, -1/+6Stainless
http://www.stainlessapp.com - twiztidsinz, on 05/22/2009, -4/+9I'm not a big fan of the minimal interface of Chrome..
I see the merit in it, but it just seems TOO small. - Thorpe, on 05/22/2009, -0/+5SHOOSH. That's supposed to be a secret!
- xino, on 05/22/2009, -2/+7Dugg on my Firefox browser.
- inactive, on 05/22/2009, -0/+5Hey, how'd you get MY google chrome browser?
- vuke69, on 05/22/2009, -0/+5No, 30% more velocity.
- midgey34, on 05/22/2009, -0/+5There are public builds of Chromium available. Have at it. Remember it's alpha, but it's still nice to play around with.

http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapshots/sub-r ... - FearlessFreep, on 05/22/2009, -0/+4i just use a custom hosts file so stainless works for me. Giving it a try at least
- DCStarClassic, on 05/22/2009, -1/+5from what i understand the address bar in chrome replaces the google toolbar.....
could be wrong....if i am, sorry. - woranl, on 05/22/2009, -0/+3As long as it keeps killing IE, I'm all happy about it.
IE must die! - virtualmode, on 05/22/2009, -0/+3I get 99/100 on the Linux version of Chrome which isn't even alpha yet. I think the latest Windows version has the same result. Does that 1/100 really bother you?
- grantmoore3d, on 05/22/2009, -0/+3Everyone complaining about the lack of add-ons in Chrome fail to see the point of the browser. It's meant to be very fast, very minimal. Just you and the internet, nothing else...and that's the reason I use it.
- cregan89, on 05/22/2009, -0/+3Just to point out, people who were using the "Dev" or "Beta" channel of Chrome, you've already had these new features and speed increase for a while. This is only an update to the "Stable" channel. If you don't have any idea what I'm talking about, then you're on the "Stable" channel, so welcome to the club and enjoy an even faster browser than you were using before! And yes, the speed difference of the browser after the update is quite noticeable. If you want to make sure your chrome updates manually, click on the little wrench in the top right hand corner, then click on "About Google Chrome" from the menu. At the bottom of the new window it will either say chrome is up to date or it will ask you to install a new available update.
And for anybody that wants to change their chrome from "Stable" to either "Beta" or "Dev", go to this link and download and run the "Google Channel Changer".
http://dev.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-chann ...
I have been on the "Dev" channel for about 6 months and it is 100% stable so I recommend it. The "Dev" path also passes Acid3 100% by the way, except it fails the "Link Test" but if you know what the "Link Test Fail" means, you'll understand that it's just a choice of how the Google developers chose to handle links. Google simply doesn't agree with Acid3's rule so they will never support the "Link Test" because they think Acid3's test is wrong. Other then that though, Acid3 still shows a score of 100. And it's been scoring 100 on the "Dev" path since like 8 months ago. - dakdak900, on 05/22/2009, -0/+32 new Android phones come out this year (at least 2), they will rock you socks off
- arthursk, on 05/22/2009, -1/+4I just started using stainless, its great. Multiple page processing is mainly why I switched. I'm still trying to get over not having ad block, and I often find my self booting up firefox for some features though.
- theaceoffire, on 05/22/2009, -0/+2Fire Gestures rocks (Mouse drawing to activate scripts/commands), as well as greasemonky and web developer.
