- praveenmarkandu, on 11/21/2007, -3/+17i dont know. couldnt care less about the new feature. if i like a site, i bookmark it. if i need to find it its always in my history. biggest improvement in firefox3 is performance
- Scien, on 11/21/2007, -3/+12The tabs moving around nicely... obviously. What kind of user would want their tabs to move around so willy nilly... this is definably a case of a bug, not a feature.
/sarcasm (I don't know what he was trying to say either) - cptl, on 11/21/2007, -1/+10Can I delete the "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder" that is currently un-deletable?
- UberNick, on 11/21/2007, -3/+9except for what?
- richbradshaw, on 11/21/2007, -1/+7"now available for testing mainly by developers"
Mainly being the operative word. - inactive, on 11/21/2007, -0/+6nope you still can't
- richbradshaw, on 11/21/2007, -0/+4now available for testing, mainly by developers, as it isn't that stable yet
Would be a better way for the OP to have phrased it. It's obviously avaliable to everyone - it's OSS. - cdmarcus, on 11/21/2007, -0/+4It's a beta, sticking with the stable seems like the logical thing to do.
- polyGone, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3I wasn't into that, either. It would help if they made it more like this.
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3Hey thanks for the smiley face while talking about your browser crashing because that makes total sense.
- SPThom, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3It's called... BETA.
- gernblansted, on 11/21/2007, -0/+2Since firefox3 can read bookmarks from various sources (including a secured web services), your bookmarks can (will) be safely accessible and updatable from any other firefox3 browser you happen to be sitting at. In addition, you will likely be able to subscribe to sets of bookmarks generated by others for a particular purpose, such as technical documentation groups, tutorials for a topic of your choice, and other topics. All this while not interfering with your normal bookmarking habits. This is just the start of a new way to look at 'bookmarking', and you can expect some interesting things to come from it.
- madk, on 11/21/2007, -2/+4My bookmarks work just fine thank you. Stop bloating my FF.
- glasgowm, on 11/21/2007, -0/+2The ability to use Gmail offline is one I'm looking forward too - (On a wireless network that often goes down) :(
- squegie, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1You probably need to clear out your cookies.

- comrade693, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1You'll understand once you've used it for a month or two. I can't go back to the old system anymore.
- 000dom000, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1Anyone know any screenshots?
- chad78, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1Mike? Carol? The Seavers? *singing* show me that smile again.....
- SPThom, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1Actually it seems like it's sucking up a lot less memory than it used to. Well, it's still using 7x more memory than any other app, but it's using about half of what it used to for me under similar load.
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -1/+2"now available to everyone, but only recommended to be used by developers" would have been correct,
being a developer has nothing to do with whether it's available to you or not, only whether mozilla recommends that you use it - damndj, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1No u
- dpmcalli, on 11/22/2007, -1/+1I dont actually agree with you (performance has always been fine for me) but I dug you just for the correct use of "couldn't care less" rather than the "could care less" alternative.
- Jammerdelray, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1Firefox 3 has a lot of improvements, not just in a big performance boost.
- dasutin, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1yeah 3 tabs open and its using 758mb of memory, then when trying to add those three tabs as bookmarks, it crashed.... not cool
- postal21, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1Firefox 3 randomly eats my entire computer's memory until it crashes itself...
Im sticking with 2 until the beta bugs are worked out. - phinn, on 11/21/2007, -3/+1They are aweful right now. They are called "places" or something instead of bookmarks. I tried to delete a few (because it imported an older version) and it crashed the whole browser. I'm stickin with Firefox 2 for a little while longer :-)
- mrmacky, on 11/21/2007, -4/+2Firefox 3b1 is pretty nice, and so far, for me, just as stable as Firefox 2... even with some extensions modded to run under it.
- riveraj, on 11/21/2007, -6/+4Sounds cool.... Cant wait for a final or at least a release candidate
- Christbait, on 11/21/2007, -4/+1What have they done to it? It ***** sucks, it crashes my computer, like no other piece of software ever has done before, it's horrible. Fix it or I'm keeping FF2.
- greenlight2001, on 11/21/2007, -4/+1Hey *****... it's not ready for prime time yet. If your gonna be pissy about details, wait until they offically release it. Asshat.
- cpbrown, on 11/21/2007, -4/+1"There's also a new star button for easily adding sites to your bookmark list - similar to what's already available on Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7 browser"
Well Waheyyyyyyy :| - inactive, on 11/21/2007, -6/+3"Now available only to developers" Wrong. Available to everyone. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html
- SkyDancer49, on 11/21/2007, -3/+0Mike,
Thought you might find this interesting.
Carol - KangoTraveler, on 11/21/2007, -5/+2This story needs pictures, :)
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -6/+1"now available for testing mainly by developers" Wrong. Available to everyone. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html
sorry looks like your still wrong. - MrSarcasm, on 11/21/2007, -8/+2Dunno. I'm using it as my main browser. Typing this comment using it actually.
The tabs move around nicely... Not too much of a hassle excepts for that. - MrPapa1, on 11/21/2007, -7/+1finally... this might be enough to give the beta a whirl instead of waiting for the formal release...
- Nigpoo, on 11/21/2007, -15/+4firefox 3 sucks i could only use it for 30 minutes then i got tired of hitting backspace to go back a page because the back button didnt do *****.. work on that
