- recruz, on 04/10/2009, -0/+2@midnightkid: it may not be revolutionary, but it has been caught by the masses- with a database as large as it has grown in so short of a time, i think it can become a neural network- artificial intelligence, or a skynet if you will- the way i see it, you could program entire civilizations based on locations and societies- you can program natural human reactions based on events with that kind of data- think of it as a research and development experiment

- cbeach, on 04/09/2009, -2/+1Glad to see the Twitter haters are getting buried. Yes, it's probably a social networking fad. HOWEVER it's significance goes way beyond social networking. Twitter carries fantastic potential as a free-of-charge global publish/subscribe API with authentication, and as a way of searching current world thought and brand reactions.

For now I manage multiple accounts by using TweetDeck for one and FireFox for the other, but if things get more complicated I'll have to switch. Hopefully TweetDeck will upgrade to multiple accounts.
