- grigio, on 01/21/2009, -0/+6Banshee is the BEST music/video player on every platform!
It would be perfect with "cover flow" and jamendo support - danwallace, on 01/22/2009, -0/+5Time to install Ubuntu again. My computer blew up and I got lazy and used XP since then.
- yfph, on 02/03/2009, -0/+2Banshee is nice, but it is such a CPU hog on my core2duo....
- fakeollie, on 01/25/2009, -0/+2The way Amarok 2 is going, it's great that we have Banshee actually doing the opposite and becoming better with each release. The few features Banshee still lacks for me are: monitoring library folders for changes and a "File system" source, so you can browse and play/queue folder-organized tracks without actually touching the library.
It's a joy to use Banshee. The UI is sleek, the app rock solid, it has impressivily elegant tag editing, and the level of last.fm integration is fantastic. - moleculeye, on 10/20/2009, -0/+1I like Banshee better than Rhythmbox except for the fact that it's way more of a CPU hog. I'm getting 20-30% utilization just playing a song (essentially no plugins enabled) compared with RB's 5-8%.

I don't need 50 million bells and whistles to enjoy my favourite albums. - philsf79, on 07/28/2009, -0/+1I have a Pentium D and I barely notice it.
