- MCA2142, on 12/01/2008, -2/+11You buried them for "they are" creepiness?
You're retardedness - KittayKim, on 12/01/2008, -0/+7clearly you did not read the article.
- doshindude, on 12/01/2008, -1/+7I'm still on CS2....and have no reason to upgrade.
- inactive, on 12/01/2008, -1/+7CS2 in high school?!? I was using Illustrator 1.0 in high school!
/goes to buy a walker and a case of geritol. - takamalak, on 12/01/2008, -2/+7Must be lonely in your world. Everyone I know who's used it, including myself, loves it.
- bwolf180, on 12/01/2008, -0/+5Digg Fight!
- MCA2142, on 12/01/2008, -1/+6just wow.
Cr8nkenstein, go ahead. Confess your love. - ultrafez, on 12/01/2008, -1/+5Holy crap. That's some serious hate going on there.
- reugeneg, on 12/01/2008, -1/+5Wonderful, now we will have multiple page docs in Illustrator instead of Indesign where they belong.
- arunforce, on 12/01/2008, -1/+5Somalia of course.
- BossKey, on 12/01/2008, -0/+4I've been waiting forever for them to add tabs. It helps a lot.
- cadmiumpaint, on 12/01/2008, -0/+4If you've used the complete creative suite for any amount of time, you'll find the biggest annoyance is the lack of streamlined interfaces across the board. WIth the addition of Macromedia programs the challenge is out to make every adobe app feel the same interface wise so the learning curve is easier.
I agree though. I hate tabs....it would be nice if they gave you the option to revert to a "classic" type environment. - xroman, on 12/01/2008, -2/+6I don't like the new tabbed interface.
- ultrafez, on 12/01/2008, -0/+4I used to HATE the MDI floating windows, it used to drive me bat-***** insane... if you hadn't guessed, I like the tabs :)
- dogparade, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3when will people learn tabs are not a solution to all problems.
They work well in a browser, and a small number of other instances but certainly not in visual work.
***** developers and their lack of creativity and common sense - iruel, on 12/01/2008, -3/+6I'm excited to try this out, i havn't used illustrator since CS2 back in high school. Ive always loved vector graphics.
- nickaster, on 12/01/2008, -4/+7And guess what? I'm sticking with 7.0 because it does 99% of what I need and likely will for a long time!
- MadHarvey, on 12/01/2008, -1/+4Inkscape is nice and free.
- KAMiKAZOW, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3Depending on one's needs, Inkscape may be not enough.
However: It doesn't hurt to try Inkscape at least. - hungryduck, on 12/01/2008, -1/+4Lol. Irony.
- NikZ, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3The tabbed windows in Ai & Ps are probably the single best thing about CS4*
Besides, you can turn them off if you truly do hate tabbed windows: Preferences > User Interface (Ai) or Preferences > Interface (Ps).
*Okay, not the single best, but they are very welcomed. - cadmiumpaint, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2combining filters and effects is nice. I want to see what else is in CS4 before i buy.
- MCA2142, on 12/02/2008, -0/+2You Digger Guy...
- cadmiumpaint, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2i'd love it if flash worked more like AE....would make more sense that way. After effects is so easy for me compared to flash.
- etx313, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2They are people that annoy you. _iggers.
No... Diggers. - ishkabum, on 12/01/2008, -1/+3i have Photoshop CS and as a person who is not a professional graphic designer, i really will never need anything more. but cool.
- 32bytes, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2Arrrrrrrrrrr
- ultrafez, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2Until CS5 comes out, then it'll be all "how did I ever survive without CS5?"
- NikZ, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2They do, the tabbed interface is default, but optional (at least in Ps & Ai).
- nshop2, on 02/24/2009, -0/+1Nice review... I liked it.
Thanks

- inactive, on 12/01/2008, -12/+12MrBabyMan and Badwithcomputers must be two of the creepiest, lonliest people in the world... BURIED for they're creepiness :)
- GalacticRerun, on 12/01/2008, -3/+2I never know which files to download to get that stuff. Why can't getting a serial number be easy to just use the trial?
I know, I'll get buried for dumbness now. - cugar, on 12/01/2008, -5/+1all of cs4 i was nerdgasming over, untill i actually used it, interface needs some work as do the programs themselves, dunno how many times ive errored or glitched out in all of the suite, hopefully theyll get patched up soon or im goin back to cs3
new timeline in flash is like after effects timeline, which is really annoying, atleast for me - haynesjgator, on 12/01/2008, -10/+5Hurray! Yet another minor Illustrator upgrade that we must upgrade to for file compatibility with clients.
- saltyjustice, on 12/01/2008, -11/+5buried for babyman spam
