- TennBikeBerk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Good stuff....keep it coming.
- bjeanes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6it was done in about 3 or 4 hours. i watched the whole session...
- Locuester, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Yep, wrote it in 3 1/2 hours. Witnesses via webex and vnc.
Bring it on. - spangemonkee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6sweet. organize the clutter.
- gbjazzman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7This is one of those things that makes you ask: Why hasn't someone does this already?
Big fan of AppADay. Keep up the good work. - dharh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7This is an app that takes your windows and puts them in a tabbed window.
Hurray! No more multiple explorer windows cluttering up my desktop. - stephen2417, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Let me get this straight, tabs inside tabs inside tabs..... god.
Sweet app though. - Cupboard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It is very cool, but some things don't work (most notably so far for me is Wavelab, which went a bit mental). Otherwise, it works great, and I thoroughly reccomend trying it, its only a few kb and there's nothing to install
- dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Well, they have, http://www.wintabber.com/
Just tried out Jedi Dock, it seems a little buggy (Atleast compared to WinTabber), then again I'm sure WinTabber has had a bit more time put in to it, understandably. But then again, I tried WinTabber for a while and just didn't really like it. I'd prefer a decent virtual desktop application for Windows.. Hm
Oh, to people who don't like waiting for the Java chat thing to show up, the IRC channel is

- Ben - Gemini25RB, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2So....did he actually write the whole app in one night? I didn't even try out the app, but I would guess that would be a substantial task.
- digggdoug, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Broken on x64. But I guess you can expect that with late night, rushed coding.
- modicr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hello!
There is a similar utility for console apps:
http://www.jpsoft.com/tcides.htm
(TCI = Tabbed Console Interface)
Cheers, Roman - Killgore, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Well maybe ill try it next time i boot up windows. (hey im not trying to sound like a linux zealot :S)
- suborbitcom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1These tabs take place of virtual desktops. If you have the ability to use virtual desktops, why bother with the tabs?
- Agekay, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This thing crashed for me saying it it can't read/write to the memory? Will there be an update/bug fixes for "An App A Day" apps? I love the idea!
- k00ld00d, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm still waiting for a mod that allows you to choose the position of the tabs (arrange tabs) and also change them to the bottom of the window. That would be nice. And the URL is AnAppADay.com, not AppADay.com. Check out the Live Chat in at 08:21 pm EDT - 00:21 GMT on Oct. 7th!
- bjeanes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1actually it's both :-P
- geezusfreeek, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3So... this is different from the task bar how?
- Peterix, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2We have the source :P
- suborbitcom, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2This is basically virtual desktops like we have in *nix and OS X. Welcome to the new millennium!
- Thermopyle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0There's virtual desktops on XP too. So I don't get what you're trying to say.
