And thank goodness they are Universal. Flash 8 on an Intel Mac running Rosetta is about as painful as slamming your finger in a car door. - georgepenston, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The one thing I find disappointing is that Fireworks' didn't adopt the new Adobe UI and window management system. It's the odd one out of the bunch. Even Flash CS3 got a slight UI face-lift. I say this because I really want to like and start using Fireworks over Photoshop for my web design elements, but the old Macromedia UI really gets to me.
The only other thing I find odd is that some of the upgraded software mention one or two new features in the product highlights. I don't know why this is, but I remember when each application in the suite had a full page of new features detailed on them. I guess Universal support and better integration between the former Macromedia products is the best reason for the upgrade where Mac users are concerned. I know for one the better import of Illustrator and Photoshop files into Flash is going to be worth it for me.
