- Glenn, on 10/12/2007, -2/+37People either have a love hate relationship with the new icons, Adam has done a great job with these new icons, especially since they match the different box art on the individual applications.
- i4mt3hwin, on 10/12/2007, -9/+42Yea well some people aren't *****-***** and pay for the software they use to create art. Adobe is a great company with great software and deserves every penny.
As for the icons they are sweet, but mac only. I'd like to see them reproduced for us Windows goers. - d3designs, on 10/12/2007, -6/+35Oh, and this might be a bit off topic, but I noticed that my credit card got charged today! (4-20-07)
So that means CS3 is shipping SOON! - philippbock, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21For those of you who wanted a Windows version I converted them to ico files. I don’t know how to change icons on Windows apps though, so that’ll be your job to figure out.
Download them at http://www.mediafire.com/?0wm1uxn5ntx - philippbock, on 10/12/2007, -8/+25Yeah, but you’d think the default icons for something called Creative Suite would be a bit more… uh… creative … I mean there’s nothing wrong with simplicity, but the default icons just don’t fit into OS X in my opinion.
- firepowered, on 10/12/2007, -7/+22MAC ONLY?
pfft. should release them as .PNG image files - its compatible with almost everything! (its also HQ too) - TiKoZ, on 10/12/2007, -11/+25Seriously now, what's wrong with the current ? its simple and distinguishable.
- jonshipman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10FL = flash
ID = indesign
AI = Illustrator - cgomez, on 10/12/2007, -5/+13Fantastic replacement set. Adobe did an amazing job on the box are but dropped the ball on the icon set.
- NeoRicen, on 10/12/2007, -8/+15They're really nice, but I like the simplicity of the official ones.
- costa, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7If you have Axialis IconWorkshop, you can open this icons (or any other mac ones) and save them to Windows-compatible. Even if you don't, the trial version lets you save without restrictions ;)
Beautiful icon set ! - ineedmoresleep, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10Very nice. I was juuuussst getting used to the default adobe set when I saw these.
- dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Erm, Desktop icons, Quick-launch shortcut-icons and document icons are all very prevelant in Windows?
- eleazar123, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Windows version is here: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/53728408/
- deelirium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Am I the only one who thinks the flower/butterfly/feather/shell worked so much better than these plain blocks of color?
- ohnnyj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3If you go for the download version you could be using it right now (as I am).
- mikev, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2and 2000 great features missed. ;)
- mikev, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3the default cs3 icons provide an odd weight in the dock compared to the rest of the icons. the gloss and round corners are much welcome
- definiteform, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2omg the link is borken! Im buying a mac now
- MrElRayes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Apart from the amazing work he did on the icon set, his website alone is really nice. Except something got to me that I couldn't scroll down the entire page. Just that one table/frame/div whatever it is.
Either way his site is nice and tight, I hope that guy isn't a graphic designer or else im just dropping out of art school now. - judgeFire, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5PNGs would be a nice option, but providing them at all possible sizes would be awkward. (These icons may well have variants for different sizes, as Mac icons often do.)
- donsherio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1is it just me, or did they forget to make:
Go Live,
Version Cue, and
Image Ready
=_= now my icons are all different..... - turpenine, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Al is becaise Il is bad...
- Scheissen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2If he does commercial design, then yes he should pay but if it's just free time stuff that isn't being sold I don't see why he can't pirate it.
- donsherio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Those are pretty sweet too.....
- slali, on 09/26/2008, -0/+0In Iconshock's collections you can find some nice replacement icons different from the periodic table ones:
http://www.iconshock.com/professional-icons.php?pr ... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2They are nice, but I actually like the simple ones.. you know instantly what application it is.
- ollierelph, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The site is designed so that you can only scroll the frame... there is no need for the sidebar to.
- BrettArchibald, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have also made some CS3 replacement icons, but the difference between mine and all the other alternative replacement icon sets that I have seen so far is that my icons actually make use of icons, rather than the 2-letter "periodic table" style -- so imagine a complete set of how Device Central and Acrobat, etc. currently look.

Gconvert (supposedly freeware) seems to be able to convert these to windows icons. - masskurec, on 03/04/2009, -0/+0iconshock is great
http://xptweak.net - rssej, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2simple, clean, and consistent. i think it matches os x perfectly
- winnopeg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Gonna install these on Photoshop CS. That's $2000 saved... :)
- crossers, on 07/16/2008, -0/+0it looks very nice! I use it!

http://www.chasr.org/ - flap, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Dude of course he is a graphic designer, have you never heard of him?
- ronaldpoi, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2I really prefer these:
http://www.koregraphik.com/downloads/adobe-cs3/ - zioxide, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Nice.
What I want to know is why couldn't adobe do something like this? Instead they make the ugly ass periodic table set of icons.
At least we can change icons :) - clesch, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3outstanding. love 'em!
- rssej, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0i love the simplicity of adobes new icon. i never cared for rounded white box with feathers, flowers, and glass. It looks especially good in the dock. I dont plan on switching them out, but i do like what the designer did here, good effort.
- stuartjmoore, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4They are Mac only, unless you have an .icns to .ico converter...
- flernk, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3Eh. After replacing all my icons, these just don't do it for me. They are only slightly less boring and out of place than the plain ones. It's not the designer's fault, though. I just don't like Adobe's new branding.
Dugg for effort. - MBX1, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2i prefer the standard ones. they're all thoughtout, simple, professional.
- audiowizard, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2fracking pirates!
- firepowered, on 10/12/2007, -12/+7As much as this is digg and we are all mac fan boys, i for one, still use windows, and would like a windows version of teh icons!! :D
- Acronym, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1I wonder how long the digg effect will let this site alive....
http://portable-apps.subiectiv.com/comment.php?comment.news.350 - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2I really don't understand why windows really needs them... On a mac the ugly boxed icons are always in view, in windows you hide them in the start menus.
- antechinus, on 10/12/2007, -14/+2This is stupid Riceboy stuff. Why would anyone waste their life's juices making a replacement set of icons for a 3rd party application?
- sych0, on 10/12/2007, -22/+1Theyre not that great... I still don't know what FL or ID or AI are
- TiKoZ, on 10/12/2007, -41/+13Already shipped 3 days ago on the pirate bay :P.
- DaMacGamer, on 10/12/2007, -38/+9my bittorrent edition arrived weeks ago free of charge.

What is Digg?
