- Fenix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I like Abyss for testing out scripts on my computer, but I'll stick to apache for web sites.
- trvale, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What's wrong with Apache? Something like 95% of the internet uses it, and it isn't difficult at all to setup.
- amwmedia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I use to use this server too. Great first web server :-)
- traicer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Great program, i used this to host my blog
- explainmycat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0From my experience, Apache support on Windows is pretty terrible, and informative instructions online are sparse. I've yet to find a tutorial that properly explains how to set up Perl with Apache on Windows XP using the registry to point to the interpreter rather than the shebang line. Iirc, this program is easier to setup for Perl.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0awesome program I used to use this, very, very, very easy to setup. A+
- aoco, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I've used abyss in the past and fount it pretty easy to install and use. It provides a nice graphical face to the webserver. It's *fairly* easy to plug in PHP to it and for personal use, it's great. While apache is pretty robust and easy to fudge up if you don't do something right, abyss is more streamlined and great for testing platforms. That is also it's greatest limitation. For home use or small serving needs - I would highly recommend it. Plus, it's used less frequently thus not quite as prone to many of the Apache security issues that pop up from time to time.
- somebody, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I tried Apache, and I could not get it to work at all, and I didn't even know how to access my server, it was not the best program. I know a lot of people use it, But I just couldn't get it to work. So I found Abyss, and it's great!
