  • hawksfan03, on 01/30/2009, -0/+1I use pidgin. Works great as a replacement for AIM, MSN, GTalk, facebook chat, and Jabber. Plus it is extremly lightweight uses around 8 MB of RAM most of the time

    The facebook chat is only available via a plugin and the download can be found here http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/ThirdPartyPlugins

    They also have a twitter plugin I recently installed that works great as well
