I WANT THE TIPS. - brstilson, on 11/29/2007, -5/+24buried for inaccurate title. This is spam.
- ChzPlz, on 11/29/2007, -4/+15Tip #75 - do a google search. Works every time.
Who the hell has time to wade through 74 different websites and books? This is crap. - Punisher2K, on 11/29/2007, -0/+10Not all of us can work at McDonald's like you. Lucky bastard.
- mugwamp, on 11/29/2007, -2/+12I'm going to have to go ahead and bury this for the misleading title. Another crappy page of links only. Why bother.
- cawpin, on 11/29/2007, -0/+8This is a stupid list of useless links. Buried.
- Comanche, on 11/29/2007, -2/+9Title should say links to tips. =Countif(thatwholewebsite, tips) The resulting value would be 0, as there is 0 tips on that site.
- bedwyr, on 11/29/2007, -0/+6Here's one: use MySQL.
- PDubNYC, on 11/29/2007, -0/+5Why are you speaking for all of us? We all don't appreciate your assumptions. And I am quite certain that, judging by the number of 13 year olds on here, many people don't assume they know Excel. And the rest of us might not like being grouped in with them.
We thank you. - Zoshchenko, on 11/29/2007, -3/+8How the heck do links to books at Amazon and paid professional consultants count as "tips"????
- roboticelephant, on 11/29/2007, -0/+5Press F1.

- inactive, on 11/29/2007, -4/+8Tip 72: Don't bother with inferior products, i.e. Open Office. You get what you pay for! Viva la Ribbon!
- humperdeath, on 11/29/2007, -0/+4Here is one,
Format an area of 8 X 8 cells, and make each cell a large square.
Now shade every other one red, and the alternate ones black.
Print that 8 X 8 area to a color printer and you can play checkers on it! - humperdeath, on 11/29/2007, -0/+3This is crap. No tips in this article, just a library list of books! Deeply buried!
- LastDitchHero, on 11/29/2007, -0/+3Where are the tips for OOo Calc????
- redeye69, on 11/29/2007, -0/+3A bunch of links to books on Amazon. Gee, thanks.

- serkia, on 11/29/2007, -0/+280% of all links are links to AMAZON or OFFICE.MICROSOFT.COM

- ChildeRoland420, on 11/29/2007, -1/+2I think as long as the column next to it is full you can just double click on the corner that you drag out. Give it a try and let me know.
- chrisgarrett, on 11/29/2007, -8/+9This is getting prominently bookmarked for later. So many links, so little time ...
- roboticelephant, on 11/29/2007, -0/+1OOo is to MS Office as GIMP and Inkscape are to Photoshop and Illustrator CS3.
- humperdeath, on 11/29/2007, -0/+1What I really need is 8,888 tips for using Outlook.
Anyone?
Meantime, I'll use Thunderbird and GMAIL - mezw1270, on 01/31/2008, -0/+0You can also copy the cell, single click on the first cell of the column where it will be pasted, hold down "shift" and then page down as far as you want. Right click on one of the highlighted cells and paste. It's a whole lot faster if you have hundreds of lines.

BTW, I use Open Office (Home Ubuntu Laptop), Office 2007 (Work) & 2003 (Home & Work). I also work for the School District so I get a discount on Office, otherwise I would not be able to afford it.

- quentinp, on 11/29/2007, -4/+1One thing I keep meaning to look up - when drag filling a formula, how do I just get it to jump to the bottom and fill everything? I end up just dragging down through 1000's of lines, then of course bouncing back and forth as I miss the last line several times.
- dehnomac, on 11/29/2007, -5/+1How 'bout some 70+ Access tips...
- crivar, on 11/29/2007, -10/+5We all have the feeling that we know Excel so well. But after reading this article we realize that we are (so...) wrong. Good resource. But so many tips and so little time.
