- jggube, on 03/07/2009, -2/+7AIR is great for web developers - it gives us a chance to create desktop apps using our existing knowledge. I sincerely hope that AIR's popularity rises; there are already a ton of great apps out there worth installing Adobe AIR for.

- DirtyVicar, on 03/07/2009, -1/+3That's what I thought, until I realized the images had a bunch of text. Tilting it a bit does kind of make the article less dry.
- Eric-tile, on 03/07/2009, -0/+2That's not true. HTML, JavaScript, and the likes can all be run locally in one's browser.

- PRlME, on 03/07/2009, -0/+2The skewing would have been good if there where more content between them. It just hurts your eyes as you try to read the 2 or 3 lines of content.
- whiledo, on 03/25/2009, -3/+5Why would god care? Assuming god exists, didn't god make man naked to begin with?

- 7aji, on 03/08/2009, -0/+1Love the idea of cross--platform environment for applications, but from my experience, Air apps tend to take too much memory for a small application :(
I loved Adobe Kuler until it got integrated into Photoshop CS4 - inactive, on 03/07/2009, -0/+1god made man in his own image, ie with a fig leaf covering his ***** and balls. so god must be pretty shy...
- clickwir, on 03/07/2009, -0/+1Of the current install base. I don't think that 90% of people would have chosen to install AIR on it's own if it had not been prebundled with other Adobe software.
Therefore, any time I see it installed on a pc. I remove it. - 7aji, on 03/08/2009, -0/+1Thanks for the info!

- shevchenfai, on 03/10/2009, -0/+0Aren't 3rd party projector programmes better since they don't need the user to pre-install anything. They usually have more built-in functions anyway. But still, AIR is nice because it's free! And I am a flash developer and I am glad that AIR and all those 3rd party projector programmes make be capable of writing desktop apps.
- vasu2211, on 03/07/2009, -3/+2ADOBE air
