- NicoNicoNico, on 03/11/2009, -1/+1Question: Does fire.fm load the entire stream beforehand, or does it stream like it does in last.fm? This may sound like a silly question, but I want to be sure. Love last.fm, but I can only use it if I'm visiting a friend.
IMO, they'd do better to load the whole stream before it plays. My connection has a latency of between 1000-2000ms, so I get an error message if I try to play something over 30 seconds. Pandora works wonderfully, though. (And no, I can't switch ISPs. Cable's available across the street, but the cable company has no intention of extending the lines by even a few feet. No, I can't pay them to do so, either. Dial up has better latency then the crap we're with now.)
Also, if someone has a way to get around that streaming issue, please tell me. - javiero, on 03/10/2009, -2/+1Nice!!! does anyone know why pandora hasnt cant interact as well with other apps? also, how can I "backup" my ff just the way I have it set up with all my extensions and all?
