- arbulus, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1People who call strangers "Hoss" are worse.
- Kyle660, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Nice list. Repeated a couple but there were a few I had forgotten or simply didn't know. Definitely worth a read if you are looking for ways to get faster at 4chan image macros, or whatever you kids do.

- pwnies, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2#10 is wrong. Holding ctrl won't turn the vector tools into the move tools (With the exception of text). Instead it will turn them into either the direct selection tool or the path selection tool.
- sally00, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Meh.... I dugg it cuz maybe I'll come back to this and actually read it.... maybe.
- drunkenoaf, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Confuscious say, "nice collection .. may come handy"?

- everlaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1As far as I'm concerned PhotoShop motto should be this:
"You think you've learned PhotoShop to the fullest...think again!"- bigpeeler, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I like:
"Just when you think it couldn't get more over-priced...THINK AGAIN!!" - arbulus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@bigpeeler
Seconded.
- bigpeeler, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I like:
- ElusiveByte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Another hidden feature:
"Stamp Layers"
Normally, Ctrl-E or "Merge Layers" in the Layers Palette merges the selected layers into one layer and the original layers are deleted. If you hold Alt, the layers are merged into a *new* layer, preserving your originals.
You can see in the History that this operation is called "Stamp Layers"- mrgono3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That it: ctrl+shift+alt+e for those of you that dont know
- socbookmark2007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Handy to have it all in one place for easy reference.
- ThankTheCheese, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5Replace all instances of Ctrl with Command.
Real photoshop experts use a Mac ;)
You may begin digging me down now.- takamalak, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2Seriously, te only time I've seen Windows users use photoshop was to paste someones head on someone else's body.
- pachuco, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2i wouldn't call it secrets though,, its pretty basic photoshop-ing.
- InstantABS, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1We are one here. I wouldn't call these *secrets* either.
- mpphan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1These are just shortcuts. It could probably be found in the help section of Photoshop.
- KoderOne, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I might add:
Select a layer and press a number on the numeric keypad. The transperancy of the layer will be adjusted (press 7 for 70% transperancy aso. Press 0 for 100%). - cjmal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1#5 does not work. wouldve been nice though.
- geed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1#5 will work if you hit your "F" key once to switch to full screen mode and do it there. Mind you, I just tried it once and it looks as though you will have to do this every time you open PS.
- TrainingName, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0IN SOVIET RUSSIA, PHOTOSHOP TRICKS YOU
- JohnnyRad, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1dugg down for photoshop on windows. weak.
- jaredvolkl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Not so much a list of "secrets" as it is a list of keyboard shortcuts. Handy nonetheless.
- dn11, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2these aren't "hidden secrets" they are mostly hotkeys and ordinary features that any experienced user already uses....
- VeganG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What I want to know is if there's a way to make the toolbar horizontal instead of vertical. I work with a lot of documents in a wide aspect ratio, so it's a shame to be cramped for horizontal space while the bottom half of my screen is wide open.
- revolved, on 10/12/2007, -0/+099. Need to locate a layer quick? Use the Move Tool (V) and right click on the area the object lays. There should now be a “cursor-menu” with all the layers that is in that particular area.
#99 is the #1 tip on this list. i've run into many people that, like me, have been using Photoshop for 10-15 years and aren't aware of this feature. it makes working with Photoshop and finding the layer you need so much easier and faster.
the layers in the cursor menu are listed in order from the top down. - drobati, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2So, many of these commands don't work in CS3. Alot of them work fine but some of them are only CS2 applicable. I know CS3 isn't released yet, but how come im seeing so many CS2 guides and tips?
Btw, if you haven't used CS3 yet, your going to love it. Its load time on my macbook is literally less then a second. The first time its slow but after it has set itself up its AMAZING. Its panels are so improved too i absolutely love the change. Although im kind of disappointed with adobes choice of icons for this suite, they are kind of boring.- korn91313, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2got to download...errrr....buy CS3
