- bbrassi, on 02/20/2009, -1/+14I think he was being facetious. Scoring a goal from 90 yards is nothing but luck if the goalie is in the goal as she just was there, soccer games are low scoring, and you all need to not read everything so literally.
- RevJonathan, on 02/20/2009, -7/+19Nice shot kid that was one in a Million!
- malibusurf, on 02/20/2009, -3/+14shocking goalkeeping. she'd be warming the bench all season if i was her manager.

- wakethefallen, on 02/20/2009, -0/+9I went to high school with Mo, she is a beast! ( In a good way.)
- CoreyTamas, on 02/20/2009, -0/+9I love the part that says "SOMEHOW finds its way to the goal."
Like it's a magic spell or the ball did it on its own. :) - a2fan, on 02/20/2009, -1/+9I can't be too critical of the goalie ... the opposing forward was well ahead of the kick and she was concerned the forward would get to the ball first and drive it in. She was ready to check the forward but the ball took a lucky bounce over her head and she was caught over-committed and unable to compensate outside the goal. Technically, she tried to do the right thing.
- mmaine, on 02/20/2009, -6/+14 It seems like she lucked out a bit, but it was still a fantastic kick :-)
- UNCCEJ1010, on 02/20/2009, -0/+7Yeah, the other keeper failed pretty miserably.
- inactive, on 02/20/2009, -4/+10Luck? Dude thats skill. Anyone can kick a 90 yard goal. Thats why soccer games are high scoring games.
- JtodaTizzle, on 02/20/2009, -0/+6Ha! Was just about to post that link...!
He can score them with his head, too:

- bbrassi, on 02/20/2009, -0/+6Title says it all. Although, I will say that I've seen a video or two of this happening in professional men's leagues.
- SLYK, on 02/20/2009, -1/+7You forgot the /s tag.
Some people with the IQ of a peanut need help understanding stuff that the rest of us can see as implied. - inactive, on 02/20/2009, -0/+5You're aware that soccer fields are 120-130 yards long right?
- loconet, on 02/20/2009, -5/+10Higher quality athletes
- Ruch182, on 02/20/2009, -0/+4always one eh....
- noino1966, on 02/20/2009, -2/+6Harmless kick that should have been taken very easily by the other keeper...only slight excuse is that they are playing on a artificial pitch and the bounce on those things can be quite deceptive...its a piss poor excuse though as that should have been taken into account...
basically just ***** keeping... - rgremill, on 02/20/2009, -4/+8Geaux Tigers!
- sgtbutterscotch, on 02/20/2009, -1/+5He's definitely being facetious, but it's so awkwardly worded it's hard to see it.
- tournification, on 02/20/2009, -2/+6Go tigers!
- lucfreder, on 02/20/2009, -0/+4that was entirely the defending keeper's fault

Happened last year, and that was Danny Cipero's first MLS game after the previous NY goalkeeper was suspended for taking "performance supplements" - all4thelulz, on 02/20/2009, -1/+4the other goalie is terrible
- mishaneah, on 02/20/2009, -4/+7funny, but I have to dig you down. wear it as a sign of triumph.
- d3dm, on 02/20/2009, -0/+3I thought the same until I went to Google Maps and looked at the sat view of the LSU women's soccer field.
Based on the center field circle having a 10 yd. radius, their field is 120 yards long and 80 yards wide. If you look at where the kick is taken, it's about 10 yards outside the penalty area. That's 28 yards from the goal line and 92 yards from the far goal line. I reckon 90 yards is a pretty good estimate. - drhead, on 02/20/2009, -0/+2Simpson's did it!
- lunachique, on 02/20/2009, -1/+3Very awesome. The Ronnie Hextall of Womens Soccer.
- inactive, on 02/21/2009, -0/+2it also bounced long before it passed the goal line.
so i think we're talking total distance. in which case don't forget to add the depth to the back of the goal as well - uzusan, on 02/20/2009, -0/+2Most people do use yards when talking about football (soccer). The two boxes round each goal mouth are still called the 18 yard and 6 yard boxes.
- Krissam, on 02/20/2009, -0/+2omg.. that probably the geekiest way I've ever heard of someone estimating a lenght on... dugg you down just so i could digg you up twice!.
- fakeguy, on 02/20/2009, -0/+2Allow me to present you with the States the Obvious Award also known as the No ***** Award.
