http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Gi98iEziKQ - psg188, on 06/24/2008, -1/+92I retract my statement, the goal tender wasn't killed.
- wastedlife, on 06/24/2008, -30/+120Football*
- tjmb9, on 06/24/2008, -2/+92Not quite The Hand of God, but still pretty sneaky.
- theImmodiumGuy, on 06/24/2008, -38/+123The reason the player scored is that when he went near the keeper, the keeper forgot to fall down and hold his leg like he'd been shot so the ref would call a foul.
- GoonPowerX, on 06/24/2008, -0/+71I was expecting to see the exclamation point pop up over the keeper's head.
- JP1998, on 06/24/2008, -9/+80wallet and gold pocket watch lol that was funny, how old is this anyways?
- serif69, on 06/24/2008, -0/+67Dugg for comments with links to better goals.
- TheAtomicMoose, on 06/24/2008, -2/+65What is your screen resolution, 300 x 300?
- NoEasyWayOut, on 06/24/2008, -1/+57No... only if someone passes it to him while he is offsides.
- noahhoward, on 06/24/2008, -2/+57This doesn't look like the Italian league though.
- Hefelumpman, on 06/24/2008, -1/+44Ninjas are always playing football - there are really 15 people on each time, 11 regular players, and a crack-team of 4 ninjas.
- nunofgs, on 06/24/2008, -3/+46That comma was uncalled for. :P
- Rainemaker, on 06/24/2008, -10/+52I saw something like that in a quidditch match one time.
- anonymous1986, on 06/24/2008, -7/+43Using "soccer" again are we? Well let Mr John Cleese explain to you'll once and for all the reason(s) it's called football: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=L_IRLOXOcas
- ASSASSYN360, on 06/24/2008, -2/+37The old hide behind the goalie and steal the ball trick. Glad, to see it alive and well.
- playuhh, on 06/24/2008, -3/+36psssh... more like the SNAKIEST Goal in the History of Soccer!
- psg188, on 06/24/2008, -4/+37Simple, Elegant, and 100% applicable.
- Sfenton, on 06/24/2008, -26/+54Was he offsides?
- edzz, on 06/24/2008, -2/+29GAWD BLESS AMERICUH
- Leit89, on 06/24/2008, -4/+31Apparently you miss the entire point of soccer. Soccer is very simple to play which is what makes it so fun. Oh and can you bend the ball around the wall of players on a free kick and place it perfectly in the upper 90 so the goalie can only watch it go by? Didn't think so.
Oh and the rest of the world also disagrees with you. - piffboy, on 06/24/2008, -3/+30the thing about the contact sports you have mentioned is that they wear pads. I play contact hockey and have played soccer as well. I can tell you that i would rather take a slapshot to the inside of my leg, really the worst possible except neck or groin than getting elbowed in the face or kicked bare shin by a guy with thighs as thick as any nfl runningback. and i would also like to see your football and baseball players get a set piece past any european goalie. and of course the ESPN would suck all of the big league american sports dicks. maybe you should ask a sports reporting agency besides the one in a country dominated by every other sport in the world than soccer. i mean do you really expect them to be objective in a country where ***** nascar gets better ratings than the stanley cup?
- inactive, on 06/24/2008, -2/+28I would just like to decry the burying of someone asking a legitmate question for the purpose of a better understanding.
- DaHuuuuuudge, on 06/24/2008, -0/+26This is much better, because there was no cheating involved.
- MacEnvy, on 06/24/2008, -3/+28How many McCain points did you get for that one? Hope you rack up enough to buy some ointment, because you're going to be pretty butthurt in November.
- Niubai, on 06/24/2008, -1/+26Ronaldo did almost the same as a teenager when he was playing for Cruzeiro:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAFHwsOq1sI (the last goal)
It was the beginning of his career, too bad now he's fat and only cares about shemales - HuskyPuzzle, on 06/23/2008, -4/+28Can't get caught slippin'! Part of the game...
- mightycbu, on 06/24/2008, -3/+27american 'football' should be called melonball!
- hektur, on 06/24/2008, -0/+23I did not know that was legal. Freaking amazing goal though.
- DeFex, on 06/24/2008, -1/+23yes real football is that american game where they carry the ball in their HANDS.
- infinitejones, on 06/24/2008, -2/+22Hate to be the English pedant but the word is offside. No s on the end.
- whiteboyfunk, on 06/24/2008, -1/+21Real Snake doesn't kill, he tranquilzies. >.>

- tjmb9, on 06/24/2008, -1/+18...just in case you have never heard of the most famous goal in all of soccer history...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0zjx4MAHzk&fea ... - demodawid, on 06/24/2008, -1/+18As an Argentinian, I prefer Maradona to be remembered by this goal rather than the hand of god:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdidRmYkWF0
Although I do chuckle every time I see that other goal... - CedEx, on 06/24/2008, -1/+18Rugby players don't wear pads, and they get hit all the time without rolling around on the ground.
- davidrools, on 06/24/2008, -0/+16i once got a yellow card for trying to get the ball while the keeper was trying to drop kick it. this keep just left it on the floor..probably a pattern the goal scorer here picked up on earlier in the game.
