    I did this when I played college ball back in the late 70s and it came over my shoulder a bit low and bounced off the keeper's face. My coach had me running extra laps at practice the following week.

This is one of those shots that people who play pick-up football use all the time, but only few really attempt it on big games! And that's the only reason I'm impressed.

  • dhjackburton, on 07/07/2009, -1/+7He's not calling *****. This is a rather standard trick, its just much harder to pull off at a full sprint on an official size soccer field. Most of the times I've seen this trick done is when you kick the ball off your heel and pop it over your head, not actually grab the ball with both feet.

    The OP obviously doesn't watch much soccer, otherwise he wouldn't be so impressed (or compare it to Shaolin Soccer for that matter).

    Futsal takes even more speed, explosive response, skill, and touch than when on a full sized pitch. Just because fat guys in spandex aren't groping each other doesn't mean you can't enjoy the intense skill required to play this game. These guys would run circles around you and make look like a fat fool.
