- Hermiod, on 01/04/2008, -0/+3Football is the most popular spectator sport in the world. If Americans want to delude themselves in to thinking their bad version of rubgy with body armour is more popular then they can go right ahead.
- Hermiod, on 01/04/2008, -0/+2Dugg for Denilson and Vela.
- CACuzcatlan, on 01/04/2008, -0/+2Not all Americans hate soccer, just ignorant ones like the guy above.
- CACuzcatlan, on 01/04/2008, -0/+1Mexico is coming up strong with all their players in Europe. Not just at the bottom teams, like our (U.S) guys, but at the top teams in their leagues. Giovanni is gonna be amazing with the potential to be the best Mexican player ever.
- CACuzcatlan, on 01/04/2008, -1/+2Starting to be? Between Messi's dribbling and Deco's playmaking, Ronaldinho is no longer needed.
- RedZone09, on 01/04/2008, -1/+2I wish I knew who these people were.
- GMorgan, on 01/04/2008, -0/+1Ronaldihno was always more hype than effect. A good player but I wouldn't put him in the top 10 forget the best player in the world. They wanted a new Zidane but unfortunately wanting it isn't getting it.
Personally I think Steven Gerrard is probably the best player on the planet and as a United fan that is painful to admit.
//edit - glad to see Fabregas mentioned. I remember him making fun of Keane and Scholes in one game when he was only 16.// - GMorgan, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1Ronaldinho isn't fit to lace Zidane's boots. When Ronaldinho has won world cup and european cup finals on his own then he might be able to be considered in the same class. Rivaldo was vastly superior to Ronaldinho for a start.
- acbeck58, on 01/04/2008, -0/+1This is a list of the best young players in the world but of course Ronaldihno's name had to be mentioned.
wtf? Ronaldihno the new Zidane? You can't compare him to Zidane. Zidane was an amazing footballer but Ronaldihno is a phenom! Sure, he's struggling at the moment but don't forget what he's done for Barca and his country. Steven Gerrard is the best England has. - ivosilva, on 01/04/2008, -1/+1Cristiano Ronaldo is the best. Period. Go Portugal!
- PappaSquatt, on 01/30/2008, -0/+0The best young players in the world other than the known likes of Ronaldo, Messi and Fabregas would have to be Sergio "Kun" Aguero of Argentina, Bojan Krkic of Spain and Giovanni Dos Santos of Mexico both of Barcelona, Jozy Altidore of the U.S. (yes America finally has a great young player), and probably the best of the group being Alexandre Pato of AC Milan and Brazil.
