- jbestrom, on 10/23/2007, -1/+15He didn't get it cause of youtube the video was put up after he had already gotten looked at. It even says in the article that his grandfather sent a DVD to the club not a youtube link. Oh it says youtube in the link lets digg it woo hooo.......
- ajaxfontura, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13Well, that kid's going to be insufferable for the rest of his childhood.
- omegadude, on 10/10/2007, -8/+17i need to start using youtube to show off my leet numchuck skills
- sofaKing812, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9But does he have the "I'm a little whinny bitch" factor of Christian Ronaldo?

- AlmostEvil, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6I need to put a video up of my "l33t" num-lock skills, watch as I can repeatedly press the num-lock key. Be amazed at my prowess of it being pressed and then depressed.
- Daniel591992, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Go back to sleep...
- reastes, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Frustratingly, I submitted the 9yo wonder kid yesterday.

And he didn't make it cause of youtube. It's cause his grandad sent a DVD. - thebru, on 10/23/2007, -0/+3@DiggsOnlyJew (hit the wrong reply button! Damn new comment system.)
Its funny how far down you've been dugg on a predominantly American site. - Fracture98, on 10/23/2007, -0/+3You should hear it sung in a stadium by 30,000 rabid ManU fans. Awsome.
- manicallday, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3It's more of an interest thing. It helps keeps the talent focused.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3%100 wrong?
- spyraled, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2They'll put him into their farm system and develop him in hopes he reaches his full potential, which looks outstanding from these videos. A lot of clubs in Europe have a farm system for developing young talent. This is nothing new.
- AlpineStars777, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2i'm awaiting a follow-up article about him being david beckham's bastard son
- Fracture98, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Like a 25% approval rating matters? The rest of the world doesn't buy the US-is-great crap any more. Sorry 'bout that. Blame Bush.
- Plutonium, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1the headline is bs "The club brought in Rhain Davis after his grandfather sent a DVD to United youth staff showing the boy playing for an under-10 team in Brisbane, Australia."
- AngelaJansen, on 07/30/2009, -0/+1In all modesty, Rhain is a good player at the age of 9. But have you seen this 7 year old?
http://www.youtube.com/user/AndreJansenJr
Anyway, a great opportunity here to show young talent to the selectors, not
If you are interested, there is under the URL above a "SOCCERTALENTUNDER10" group..
Greetings from Holland !! Angela - Crusty, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Too late. Someone already beat you to it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsEZ2lpM0Yw - Pharris7, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1hes alright but there are lots of kids these days that have good dribble technique. wouldnt call him the next cristiano ronaldo

- champ20, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2watch the soccer clips on youtube multiply now
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3After watching the video, I believe he is the next Christian Ronaldo. He's got the strenght, vision and skill.
- BristolMyLove, on 12/21/2008, -3/+4I can be the new David Beckham! I'll make soccer popular in the U.K.!!! Oohhhhh.
- fatlip, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1wtf? you dont like midis?
- Toshers, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1To be honest the only risk of any 'kiss of death' comes from the media. 'Signing' is a very loose term, and it happens to a lot of people that young all the time. There were several people at my old school who regularly played trials with manchester united and liverpool, it's just their way of filtering through the masses. The only reason this has recieved this much media attention is that it happened through youtube (as does almost everything not directly internet related that happens through youtube these days). The most likely situation is that everyone will have forgotten about this in less than a week's time, and he'll be just like every other kid scouted.
- whatever1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1No talent hack
- coldfusion1970, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Nope. We sign a bunch of kids as young as 9 every season.
- thekak, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Wow the kid at :40 seconds got rolled...
- Gryffydd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1In this crappy YouTube video it looks like a stationary body was glued onto his little legs.
- gmillerd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1'Signed him' to their youth academy ... not to the team. Everyone there will be his age and just as capable no doubt.
- Dotmeister, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Yeah that was fscking hilarious
- Pureeviljester, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1is that ref gonna call something?
- TheCaterpillar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The best part is at 0:37.
- welshbeef, on 12/14/2007, -0/+1What better way to show off your football skills than on Grand Slam Sunday, where the Big Four go head to head, Liverpool vs Manchester United followed by Arsenal vs Chelsea.
http://www.ucgwaa.org/liverpool-v-manchester-unite ...
http://www.ucgwaa.org/arsenal-v-chelsea-live-onlin ... - in2deep, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This is crazy....our world is so small
- patw85, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Here's an article relating to the video from the Times Online http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premiership/manchester_united/article2183729.ece This really isn't that big of a deal, according to the article Man U signs around 40 kids about his age every year.
- Grumps, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Hes so damn good as a kid, everyone is going to hate him.
- sofaKing812, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I want to shoot myself in the face now, thanks.
- liambarron, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I would hate to one of the kids on the team he faces.
- thebru, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Like foos-ball?
