http://youtube.com/watch?v=RXbzdjJBqhM - wafflez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18i can just feel the thousands of gifs that'll come out of this.
- falch69, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18Materazzi is a one of the dirtiest players I've ever seen and he deserves whatever he gets. There is a video of the ***** he pulls somewhere on youtube, I'll try to find it.
- KissTheRing, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16From what I understand Materazzi is a real a-hole and deserves everything he's gotten.
- amalik49, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Materazzi clearly knows how to piss people off. I've never seen anyone, even from his own team, side with him so he must be a total piece of *****.
- nexah3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Headbutt in the chest is the new punch in the face.
- echoforever, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14That must have left Materazzi confused. This guy must be having an identity crisis...Am I a football?
- codballs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Can't fight like men!?!? Three words sonny.
World
War
Two
Now shut your face. - Grumps, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12That SOB deserve everything he was hit by. Hes probably son of an Italian Mafia.
Look at this video of all the dirty tackle he has ever done. Just a small compilation.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zq6HosVlskQ - ikak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9if they were in hockey.. the goalie wouldn't have gotten cleeted.
- Rinkin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I am an Italian American (50% Italian) and Materazzi is a disgrace.
- merdiesel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Some funny clips of the original Zidane headbutt, i love the Mario one, the Fidel Castro one is pretty good too...
http://www.armchairgm.com/mwiki/index.php?title=The_Ultimate_Collection_of_funny_Zidane_headbutt_videos - whiledo, on 03/25/2009, -0/+5If this site was in Ukranian, neither of these comments would have been posted.
- Ellsass, on 11/05/2008, -0/+5More like "I headbutted Materazzi" since apparently people are lining up to do it.
- Felspawn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Agreed
- mschlans, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Im not Italian but Materazzi is a disgrace to the game of soccer. The actions taken are by no means justified and should be dealt with but I must agree with Rinkin.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Marco is still capable of doing something like this every once in a while: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdRZKu5BUzU
And that bunch of washed up players at Inter is running away with the Scudetto and have set the new consecutive wins record for the Serie A (14 and running). - SquareOne, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4That was by far the worst comment I have ever seen on digg.
- Tiger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3See it on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXbzdjJBqhM
zidane's headbutt was much worse i think. - timxpx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4@cgeorge
shouldn't be hard right? i mean, didn't juventus get relegated to serie b? - ikak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You're an idiot.. if you watch closely he's not holding his forward.. its more of his nose area. And if you watch the part where he gets hit you can see it is a high chance that he got hit in the nose as well.
- CraigB12, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4The other guy cleeted the goalie. If that were hockey he would have gotten his ass kicked.
- bioskope, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I think I might just kill you tonight. I hate American Football but you dont see me going on dissing it, if you dont understand a sport, just let it be. And fyi Its FOOTBALL you moron
But coming back to the topic
People shouldnt be dissing on Materazzi. Have you folks seen him play this season. He's like a man possessed. He's even honed his goal scoring skills. He and Chivu are the best Centre Backs playing in Serie A and possibly even in all of Europe.
Matrix FTW - KissTheRing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@bioskope
It doesn't seem that he has changed at all. He got headbutted again for still being an a-hole. Prove to me that he's become a new man and completely turned himself around in just a few of months. - whiledo, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1@graemee
Dugg down for not getting the joke.
Hint #1: Ukrainian is a language, not a country.
Hint #2: In Ukrainian, they don't (generally) use English words, they use Ukrainian words.
Hint #3: In hockey, they don't wear cleates, they wear skates.
Or were you making a counter-joke so incredibly subtle it was unfunny? ;) - codballs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Beckham did exactly the same thing to Alpay when he was getting berated for missing a penalty. I'm not condoning it because it was a deliberate attempt to hurt the guy, but Beckham didn't even get a foul against him, let alone a yellow or red card.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2He's comin' back into form. 4 goals in 5 games ain't bad.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3LoL, again? Wow he must be an ass...
- Galaeron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Somebody should make shirts that says "I survived a headbutt from a futbol player" or something. This is just to hilarious.
- amenovolare, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There was a shirt years ago that had an imprint of a football boot on the chest with the words "I met Eric Cantona" underneath, brilliant!
- hexagramme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Damn...one day he'll get head butted by wind
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1In other news, Adriano still useless.
- sscaff1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's the first time I can actually say I agree with Matarazi. I mean Marco's slide tackle was completely uncalled for. However, I will agree Matarazi is one of the dirtiest players to ever play football.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"really? you're going to kill me, big, bad web-nerd? get a life dude and tone it down a bit, you might just get your ass kicked one of these days talking like that. although it sounds like your comments are probably a result of you having been beaten up pretty badly on your "football" field in school."
Irony... - graemee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Yes, it would have - The Ukraine's know hockey too.
- Epik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0LOL i have a feeling this won't be the last time...
- Juno808, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Totally justified headbutt on one of the dirtiest players in the game. I'm just sad that Materazzi actually has a World Cup medal in his trophy case. Zizou deserved to have a second one. Allez les bleus!
- coolmuffin121, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0he's a great player, why would he just headbutt and get a red card!
- theriddler2k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i have to agree with the hockey comment. let them have an enforcer type on the squad. when someone like materazzi pops off, sub him in. he can beat the crap out of him and see if he does it in the future.
i doubt it. - bioskope, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Dude I agree MAtrix has done some of the dirtiest ***** you could possibly see being done on a football field. But have you even seen him play this season. He's been ***** amazing in the backline to say the least and he's been relatively clean too. Matrix would be the first to vouch the fact that he has played dirty in the past. But this year he's put all that behind him. Its like the ghost of Baresi has taken over his body.
This time around he didnt even do anything. Did you even hear anything that was said after the match. Delveccio(The headbutter) thinks Matrix provoked him by asking him 'whether he was trying to kill Adriano and the goalie' and he wants an apology from Matrix. If you dont think thats ludicrous well then sorry to say you're still letting past incidents affect your judgement when it comes to evaluating how well Matrix has been playing this season. Sorry.
And this coming from a Roma fan who absolutely hates Inter's guts. But I give respect where its due. Matrix, Zanetti, Cesar,Ibra, Crespo, Stankovic, Burdisso and all have been vital parts of this unstoppable juggernaut that has been Inter. Now that even Adriano is finding the back of the net, I am quaking in my boots at the prospect of the Giallarossi facing them next week. Lord have mercy on my Totti & co. - Danial, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Bwahahahaha that's hilarious!
- FieldAnonymouse, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3"Materazzi exchanged angry words with Delvecchio before the Sampdoria midfielder's head hit him squarely on the chin."
And yet, Materazzi grabs his forehead, not his chin... It's a sham! Materazzi is a big faker! - bioskope, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1oooh rough playing on the field can only equate to him being the son of a Mafia Boss. Wow real mature.
- Platypus, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0That wasn't a head-butt. That was a guy standing up. Materazzi was standing over him, and then went all Hollywood when the obvious thing happened. There was no foul involving Materazzi, though there might have been one when Delvecchio pretty deliberately kicked the keeper's leg.
- bioskope, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1It ***** sucks that when someones trying to change for the better that people like you wont ever let their spotted past go.
- lamestory, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1really? you're going to kill me, big, bad web-nerd? get a life dude and tone it down a bit, you might just get your ass kicked one of these days talking like that. although it sounds like your comments are probably a result of you having been beaten up pretty badly on your "football" field in school.
poor little guy. - Cozmcphish, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1im in ur headbutts exploding ur chin
- unrequited, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1video or it didn't happen...
- IHaveIssues, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2Again they fall like little girls.
- Mandeep, on 10/12/2007, -16/+9Marco is way too old to be skillful anymore. But, can he induce an attack or what? It seems that's the only reason why he's still playing for Inter. That and the fact that Inter is just a group of washed up players.
